The media could not be loaded.  OMG, I've had my clipboard since 2014 and it still works great! I used it throughout college and kept it afterwards because I love it's storage compartment. The storage feature protects papers and can hold a pen in an organized manner where nothing gets damaged. I've even put thin books in there to protect them from getting crinkled.

I bought this to use as a camp counselor to hold my papers and notes about a year ago. Since then, I have found so many uses for this. I've used it in my classroom, to organize materials for my senior project, doing homework outside, or just sitting on the couch at home working on something. The clipboard holds roughly two legal pads worth of paper without bulging or warping. After about a year of use, everything about the clipboard works the same as the day I bought it. The clasp still holds securely, the clip still snaps shut, and there are no chips or breaks (although there are plenty of scratches from being dropped on pavement multiple times).I do have two complaints. For one, the pen holder is kinda a disappointment. It's just this little piece of plastic in the middle of the inside. It doesn't really "hold" the pen, it just prevents it from sliding around the inside. It really only holds one pen or pencil, so if you're like me and constantly lose pens and pencils, keep extras elsewhere on your person. Also, it can only hold thinner pens/pencils. Thicker pens will get stuck. My other complaint is that I wish the clip held with more friction. Papers (especially larger stacks or pads) slide out from under it a little too easily for my taste.However, these complaints don't really detract too much from my rating. This is a sturdy clipboard that holds up well to abuse and did exactly what I needed to it do: hold on to my papers and help keep me organized.

Great storage Clipboard! I am a college student and use this clip board as a writing surface as well as to store documents and school work. I own three of these and they're amazing. It great for organization, holds well over 50 pages and have room for pens and pencils. The locking mechanism is very sturdy and I haven't had any problems with it. The clipboard felt cheap at first, but after some time using it, it exceeded my expectations. Overall very happy with this product. Although, the "Officemate Slim Clipboard Storage Box" has an individual compartment for pens and pencils, this clipboard is sturdier and better looking. The individual compartment just complicates things and make the overall clipboard bigger. The Texas Clipboard also fits nicely into standard sized backpacks and keep clutter to a minimum.

Just received this clipboard and am already using it, it's very helpful for personal/household purposes. I like that it opens from the bottom with a secure latch and that the clip holds papers securely. It's a good size for handling and can hold a pad of letter size paper with a slot for a pen. I wouldn't consider it heavy duty, but if used with care it should last a long time. I decided on this one over a few others I considered and am glad I have it.

I bought this over a year ago and it is still performing excellently! I like how it is lightweight but holds all my papers for when I meet with different clients. I even taped a sticky note pad in there and it has not budged with all the movement I do with the clipboard. I like the polkadots because it reminded me of stars. A nice, but subtle pattern for work. Would buy again if I needed it, but it holds up so well that it is a great investment!

I thought this would be a great clipboard for me but the locking mechanism does not work well. I still use it but would not recommend it.
