I want to like it but the cats don't
This is a tough review because I WANT to like this. It is so cute and it looks like a fun time for the kitties!! NONE of our cats like this. They ignore it. I volunteer for a rescue so I'll be handing it over to our homeless kitties instead to appreciate. Our cats are not known to be picky, so it's amazing they ignore this. They only use the scratcher. My biggest complaint with this toy is the top cube. Now I can be known to be bad at putting stuff together so I might have missed something, but I don't think I did. The cube just HANGS from the top. The bottom doesn't attach to anything. It just hangs loose. The cube doesn't have much of a bottom, as you might expect from this plastic-y material that's common with tunnels and cubes. Due to this, I wouldn't recommend this item to big cats. 'Normal' size cats and kittens only.Another issue some people may have is the stability. It's a very light item, so if your cat is playing inside or jumps into the cube, this WILL move on non-carpet floors. We don't have carpet, so idk if it would move or not on carpet. As for assembly, it was fairly easy. You stick all the plastic poles together, weave some thru the tunnel and cube, and you're done.So I do like this item. I love the concept and the cat print is very cute. It has a couple flaws so take them into consideration before you purchase. It just isn't for everyone.

Great for Small Cats and Kittens
This cat tower offers a lot in a small footprint, plus is one of the more affordable options on the market. Our smallest cat is wild with it and loves the scratching post and tunnel. The bigger cats aren't too keen on it yet but their interest may grow in time. This does use the same modular design as others from the brand, so they can be connected and reconfigured as needed. It goes together very easily.Overall, no issues or concerns. We'd order this or a similar one again.

For kittens
This Kitty City Cozy Cube Retreat Cat Tower (Red) looked like it would be a fun play/sleep item for my new rescue. The tower is made of plastic pipe connected with sturdy corner connectors. It has two levels, providing an elevated nest. There 2 are fabric pieces. One is a cube shaped nest that hangs from the upper level and another that incorporates a play tunnel that attaches to the front. There is a small rope covered scratching post as well. The unit goes together quickly and fairly easily. This item is too small and flimsy for my 10 pound boy. It fell over when he jumped into it the very first time! I took it away, fearing he could get hurt. I’m not sure if I would trust it even for kittens to use unattended. The pipes are too narrow, so the unit is not stable. The cube nest only attaches along the top and swings free with nothing to stabilize it. The fabric is flimsy and has a strong polyester odor that gave me coughing fits as I put it together and gave my cat sneezing fits when he got near it. There is nothing to weight the bottom, so it falls over easily.

Cute but for kittens and small cats only
This cat tower is very cute and pretty easy to assemble. I like that it is large enough to play in but doesn't take up tons of room. Unfortunately my cats don't seem to be interested in it for the most part. I think this is partially that they are fairly large and this is super lightweight. It doesn't seem to feel stable to them and the top cube just sort of hangs in the air. The construction and fabric are very lightweight so this is best for kittens or small cats that don't weigh a lot. I wish it was a bit sturdier to accomodate larger cats, and that it had something to keep it from sliding on floors. If the cats jump on it or run through it, it slides.

Happy kitty!
This little cat play tower is exactly what you would expect for the price, it’s pretty small, materials are pretty cheap and it’s not super sturdy,It is easy enough to put together, and my cat likes it, for the price it’s acceptable, however!!!It will tip over and i would definitely recommend it only for smaller cats, mine is 12lbs and when he gets hyper and jumps on/in it, it just flips over.

Kittens love!!
My cat recently had 5 kittens, they are now a few weeks old and they are in love with this!! All of them play on it throughout the day and take naps in it. Really simple to put together. Very glad I got it!

3 1/2 stars really
This is just a middle of the road cat toy in my opinion. The pros are that it is super simple to assemble, you pretty much don't need the instructions. It's lightweight, easy to store and is relatively inexpensive. The cons are that it's kind of cheaply made and really only seems fitting for kittens or small breed cats. Also another con for me personally, this may not affect you, is that neither one of my cats seem too interested in it. I have some other toys/towers similar to this that they use all the time but for some reason they don't like this one. Overall it seems just ok and I'm sure some other people and cats would get lots of enjoyment from this, but for me personally it was kind of a flop.

It's cute with a few shortcomings.
This is a super cute little cat tower. We have an outdoor Kitty City tent that has been working well for us and I was happy to try this version.First off, it is smaller so it's great for smaller areas. It's well made and pretty sturdy, despite being built of plastic tubes. Now, it is probably better for smaller cats or kittens. I do wish the top section were more stable. My cats are a little nervous with it.The biggest shortcoming to this is that it's pretty lightweight. It definitely does not work on a hard floor. On a hard floor it slides all over.It is better on carpet but is still pretty easy to move around. The scratch pad is not usable for larger cats.So if you want a cat tower for kittens and smaller cats this is excellent! Just keep in mind that it's very lightweight.
