Perfect for throwing on straight out of the bath.
One thing I have never liked is getting out of the shower or bath then having to put on pyjamas or other clothes immediately after drying. Naturally it’s difficult to dry off fully straight away so this is a good way to get around getting dressed before you’re completely dry. It’s comfortable and has plenty of space. The materiel is absorbent so helps you dry off fully while you’re relaxing. No complaints at all, great product.

Heavy but comfortable
The first thing I noticed about this bathrobe is the weight. It's a surprisingly heavy item. This is a bathrobe, rather than a dressing gown, so it's designed more to dry you off when you get out of a pool or Jacuzzi. For this purpose it's very good. If I put the hood up it looks more like a cowl coming down over my eyes. I have to push it back a bit on my head so that I can see.As far as the material goes I wouldn't say it feels particularly luxurious and soft. It feels more like a standard thick bath towel. I was expecting something a bit softer but it's fine. I ordered this in blue and the colour is very nice, it's quite a vibrant blue similar to the product photos.Overall I'm happy with this bathrobe. At £39.85 though it is quite pricey.

Very thin and lightweight material
I was surprised to find the material of this dressing gown was the polar opposite of what I expected from the photos and description: thin and therefore not warm. According to my wife it's been reasonably well made in terms of stitching and what she insists on calling 'engineering' (though I fail to see how engines come into it) but the real let down is the quality of the basic fabric which could be summarised as feeling 'cheap'.Now if you don't happen to live in Yorkshire or you only plan on using this for a matter of minutes between shower and bedroom, then the thinness may not bother you. Equally, as someone who has lived in hot climates abroad, this might even be ideal. My point is that I dislike it when the photos and description of an item are obviously trying to convey one impression and what you actually receive is something very different. So if this had been described as 'lightweight', then that would be fair enough. Instead they use words like 'luxury', 'plush' and 'premium quality' to match the price tag, and this fabric is simply not describable with those words in my opinion.

Absorbent, warm and quick Drying.
I recently purchased my third robe from this company, and I feel compelled to share my experience in more detail, particularly because of how impactful these robes have been for us. My husband has a partial disability, which makes the post-shower drying process quite challenging for him. However, with these robes, the experience has become significantly simpler and more manageable. He finds that he only needs to concentrate on drying his feet, as he can comfortably sit for a few minutes while the luxurious terry cloth material effectively absorbs moisture from the rest of his body. The softness of the fabric is truly remarkable. It feels gentle against the skin, providing a level of comfort that is often hard to find in bathrobes. The absorbency is impressive; the robe quickly wicks away moisture, allowing for a fast and efficient drying experience that doesn't compromise on comfort. In fact, the plush nature of the fabric feels like a warm hug after every shower. While I initially purchased the first robe purely out of necessity, I found myself returning for a second one, despite the fact that the first robe remains in excellent condition and has maintained its quality after multiple washes. The longevity of these products is commendable; they hold up beautifully in the wash, and the colors remain vibrant and fresh even after repeated use. The only reason I decided to get additional robes is that sometimes laundry can take a bit longer than expected, so one on, one off and one dirty, provides peace of mind. The delivery was impressively quick, and the price point for such premium quality is exceptional. The robes are constructed from high-quality terry cloth, ensuring both durability and long-lasting performance, which speaks to the brand's commitment to providing a product that stands the test of time.In terms of care, the robe is incredibly user-friendly. It's as simple as tossing it in the washing machine and then tumble drying on low—an effortless process that saves time while keeping the robe looking pristine.I wholeheartedly recommend this Men’s Hooded Terry Cloth Bathrobe for those seeking the ideal combination of comfort and style. Whether for lounging around the home, unwinding after a shower, or simply enjoying some well-deserved downtime, this robe enhances the experience. It embodies a sense of luxury that elevates everyday moments, making it a worthy addition to anyone's wardrobe.

Lovely and warm
We are lucky enough to have a sauna - but it is located outside the main house. So the trip to and from it is across a small courtyard and especially in the winter months it can be a decidedly chilly walk. So this hooded bathrobe is fantastic for going there and back. It is generously sized (I'm 5ft 8in and around 10.5st)and this robe envelopes me with plenty of room to spare. I love the fact that it has a hood to keep my head warm too.I have read some reviews which suggest that it is a bit lightweight. Well I have to say that that is not my experience. I think it is heavyweight. And at almost £40 at the time of this review I think it needs to be heavyweight to justify the price tag. In my view it is and that price is a fair one.

Huge but nice enough
Firstly I must mention that this is fairly big for a one-size item and wouldn't suggest anyone under 5foot6 consider buying this as it would smother you.The material is towelling and feels nice enough, albeit a little thinner than I would have preferred, it's still fine. The colour is a nice chalky grey and stays this colour after a few washes, which is nice.I like the way that the belt is sewn in around the back, all robes should do this, it's a great way to have it.The pockets are a nice size too, which is always handy for me, I love a pocket!4 stars
