The capsule are as described. I take mine at night , I read cholesterol works at night in your body so this may work more effectively at night possibly because of that. I have not taken them that long yet and I only am taking one capsule instead of two so far since I take medication for my blood pressure. I don’t want to overdue anything. Once I have blood work done , if it seems to have helped me and feel ready to take a full dose I will. I would definitely buy this brand again. My husband’s Dr told him since he refused to take cholesterol medication , to take this . I would definitely lower his cholesterol. I need to lower mine too but I wasn’t put on medication and decided to see for myself. I have not had any side effects and been taking them for a little over a week now.

I only gave 4 stars because I haven’t taken them long enough to tell if they will make a difference in cholesterol numbers. There is not much taste so no problem there.

The original label on this product says that it contains 1600 mg of Organic Red Yeast Rice and 50mg of Q10. There is a sticker label covering original bar code that she's the following: Durable Red Yeast Rice - Enhanced with CoQ10, Extra Strength Cholesterol Management, Heart Healthy Blood Flow - 600mg OrganicNewItem. Which is it? I have contacted the manufacturer of the product and I am waiting for a response. Buyer Beware.
