Excellent item. Counts every step. Tells you how many kilometres you walk and how many calories you've lost.

I wanted to get a regular pedometer as I find the one on my smart watch very inaccurate as it adds every move my arm makes as a step so the total is always way over what it should be. I found this one easy to set up, the instructions are easy to follow, but I find it counts less steps than I do! It’s fine if you’re out on a walk and striding along, but pottering about the house it doesn’t seem to count 50-70% of my steps.The unit is quite well made and easy to operate.

I bought this as I didn't want ro rely on my phones step counter. I have been using this for a month and it does what you need it to. Steps and time. I don't really look at the calorie or distance things.

As much as I loathe leaving Negative feedback, this thing really deserves it.My phone usually does my steps for me, but recently I felt that it was not counting enough, it used to count about 8000 a day if I went out shopping, but just recently it has been registering about 2000 for the same thing, so I decided to try another one, then this one appeared on the Amazon Vine program, where we get an item for nothing and all we do in return is leave an honest review.So, I ordered this ZIKSUN Walking Pedometer, Accurately Track Simple Steps Counter with Digital Display, Portable Sport Pedometers for Men Women Kids Walking/Running/Distance/Step (Black) on the assumption that this would be a good thing to have and to double check my phone.HOW WRONG was I, This appeared, and I set it up with the time, weight and height, and then tried to attach it firstly to my trousers/jeans then to the belt, it would not stay attached to either for more than a few seconds, so I put it in my pocket, and checked it after manually counting 100 steps, I had checked my phone and did the same with that, the phone registered 99 steps, this thing registered 5 steps, yes thats right FIVE steps.So I gave it another go, another 100 steps, my phone said 95, mmmm, and this time this thing registered 1 step, a pathetic thing, not worth the paper the instructions are printed on, at £9.99 the price I would have paid if it was not thought the Amazon Vine program, I would have sent it back, as it is shockingly rubbish, and that is exactly where it went, in the bin, I have to also state that the screen never goes off, it is on permanently, so the battery would run down very quickly, if it worked properly that is.I DO NOT recommend this, save your money and get something better.

Nice and compact, does the job, can fit it anywhere, easy to use. Strong good quality product

I wanted to use this to check how many steps i do around the house rather than walking outdoors. obviously in the house one is going back and forth over a small area quite a lot, and it didn't seem to count these steps properly. A pity. perhaps it worked better when striding along outdoors.

This pedometer is easy to set up, has a large face to read and is comfortable to wear, with a strong clip for attaching to my clothing. The gadget is oval in shape so doesn't catch on clothing staying firm during movement. I use this gadget to record my daily steps , I'm not really interested in the other data; however, it's interesting and this could be helpful for others. The pedometer kept time and worked well. I didn't even put it in the washing machine 😐[Update, 4 weeks on. Wife and I have been taking it in turns to wear daily, more or less. Except I've now lost it. Evidently the spring clip is not as secure as I'd supposed. Maybe it needs a little lanyard to tie onto your belt (or belt loop) ... My fault I'm sure, but downgrading this to 4-star.]

Something of an antidote to the excessively complicated nick-nacks nowadays. This counts steps, and does it well.
