My son loved "Death Note", so when I saw this notebook, I thought I'd get it for him to remind him of days gone by and how we had to watch it together. He's not a fanboy but he did like the notebook. Inside there are already printed pages with all the rules, some pre-printed pages as well as blank lined pages to write your own notes on. Not exactly what I had thought it would be, but OK. Also included were a feather pen (quill pen) and a cheapish chain emblem.The notebook gave the response I was expecting, was fun to bring back memories and still has some use. This would also be a good item to have for,or give to someone who loves cosplay. It would make a great addition to a Death Note type outfit or for the general collector. Quite a fun item to have!

It comes with a few extra things.

The notebook is a decent prop, and looks good. While it has all the rules, they're rather poorly printed and hard to read. The rules take up about half the book, and even the lined parts have several pages with writing already. Not great for an actual notebook, but fine for cosplay and LARP.The quill is pretty nice, and writes fairly smooth. While not made for the ink to be replaced, someone crafty enough could.The necklace is nicely cast, but overall pretty cheap.
