This is a specialized product for the network professional. It converts an IEEE 802.3at active POE port into Passive 24v POE. And it does it very well, providing around 25W of power.I was looking to power an EdgeRouter w/power passthrough along with another passive POE component. The “official” manufacturer’s POE adapter only provided 12W, which was not enough to power both devices, specially at boot time.This adapter from POE Texas does the job without taking a sweat. I love all the different powering modes your product line has, and I’d like to see additional modes added to leverage all the potential of POE.

Multimeter says it outputs stated 24.0vDC. Used barrel plug connected to doorbell wire to supply power to a Unifi G4 Doorbell. This is not officially supported, so your mileage may vary & do your research, but its been going strong for over a week now.

I don't know what I would do without Texas POE, and particularly this part. I have dozens of these deployed and have only had two failures. They seem to hold up year after year in the heat and cold.

I'm in California but man do I love POE Texas. They make solid stuff.Learned the hard way that the cheap wifi CPEs and their POE bricks use a non-standard 24v "always-on" POE

Only comes with the adapter. No info on pin size either so good luck trying to figure out how to power it up

Works well - faster than expected (gigabit speeds) plus stable 24v output. Other 24v splitters I have only do 100 mbps, so this one is a welcome surprise.

Perfect device for taking 802.3at and converting it to 24v. I put this in a water proof pvc box outside to convert the 54v I was sending out to my Ubiquiti ptp device and it's working flawlessly. The customer service at PoE Texas is top notch too!

This solved a problem with a 24 volt POE radio, it worked as advertised.
