Great tape. This one is even better than some other 3m tapes. We used it for packing some items in my college dorm. Worked excellently. Very sturdy and creates a secure seal.

This is my 7th time purchasing this tape. It is great for my small business when packaging products to ship out as well as for packing boxes for moving. I have used it for gift wrapping and in my classroom as well. Pricing is reasonable and one roll will last a month or two for me easily (yours may go quicker or slower depending on how much you use it.)This particular tape comes shipped just as a roll and you will need a tape dispenser to put it on as this product is just a refill. I bought one with a dispenser and just use this tape to refill it each time. My favorite part of this tape is that if I lose the end of it and it sticks back to the roll, it is very easy to pull off and continue working. Not like some of the others that take forever to pull apart. I have never had a problem with it not sticking. Overall, I recommend this product to always have on hand for when you need it.

Not 100% split proof, but very good. I only had splitting issues on 1/4 Amazon packages I prepared the first time using it. This was only when trying to find the end and the splitting was very minimal, unlike their Heavy Duty tape where I've lose entire layers.As others have said while it works great for poly envelopes it doesn't stick to paper for some reason. Just isn't strong enough it seems. My guess is strength was sacrificed for the ability to make it silent and smooth. Not a huge issue for me but something to keep in mind if you wanted it for that reason. Also as another reviewer mentioned due to how smooth it is (has zero drag) you need to be mindful when dispensing or you could end up with too much.Overall I am pleased with this tape and would recommend it, especially if you prepare a lot of packages. Just make sure it will suit your application.
