So, do you really need a Masserati for a cordless phone? Quite frankly, if you need this much power in a SIP pocket phone, just put a softphone on your smartphone and connect to your SIP provider that way. But, it does everything it says and is well made. I don't like the proprietary battery and even though the screen and keypad are essentially the same size as the KX-TPA60 which I review elsewhere, to me this seems just a bit too small in my hand. On the plus side, it is very light, Bluetooth capable (get DECT range for your Bluetooth headset...or just carry your smartphone around!). In short, if you are looking for an easy transition to VoIP in a house or small business situation, this is a good solution. I personally prefer the TPA65 for a corded handset and the TPA60 for a cordless handset for the money.

OK if you must have Bluetooth
This is the Panasonic KX-UDT121. I purchased it to use with a KX-TGP600 base and several KX-TPA60 handsets.Compared to the KX-TPA60, this handset is just over an inch shorter and about 1/4 inch slimmer. The shape is reminiscent of a classic Nokia cell phone. It adds Bluetooth, vibration alerts, and a Li-ion battery back that should last longer. As for cons, it is much more expensive and you can't enable the KX-TGP600 web interface using this handset. There may be more features or advantages if you are provisioning these in an enterprise environment.I bought one of these to test and compare to the KX-TPA60, but for my home and small office use, I would rather have two of the KX-TPA60's for less than one of these.
