Great product
I had the opportunity to use the Gardner Bender 961N BigBen Aluminum Conduit Hand Bender Head, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. This tool is an essential addition to any electrician's toolkit. What sets it apart is its versatility, as it can handle both ¾ inch EMT and ½ inch Rigid conduits, making it suitable for a wide range of electrical projects. One thing I really appreciated about the 961N is its compatibility with the (BH-75) handle aluminum, which is an industry standard. This means you can easily attach it to your existing equipment, saving you time and effort. When I used the Gardner Bender 961N, I found it to be incredibly sturdy and reliable. It effortlessly bent the conduits with precision, ensuring that they maintained their shape without any kinks or deformities. This level of quality is crucial for ensuring the integrity of electrical installations. What stood out to me the most was the ease of use. Even if you're not a seasoned electrician, you'll find the 961N user-friendly. It provides excellent leverage, making the bending process efficient and manageable, even for those new to the trade. In conclusion, the Gardner Bender 961N BigBen Aluminum Conduit Hand Bender Head is a top-notch tool that I highly recommend. Its compatibility, durability, and ease of use make it a valuable asset for any electrical professional. It's a product that delivers on its promises and makes electrical conduit bending a breeze.

Great tool, good price
Was looking for 1/2 emt bender’s for a while and noticed it took same size handle as my 3/4” bender. Easy to use and u can pretty much make unique bends work’s great.

Will NOT do 1/2 rigid as description states. Excellent quality casting. No burrs!
Bought this for PEX to pre-bend it before mounting with a 90 degree PEX bracket. Works great. Makes installing the PEX so much easier. This way I'm not up at the ceiling on a ladder running the PEX and straining to fit it into a 90 degree bracket. I did try it with a 1/2 EMT and that's good, but 1/2 rigid will NOT work. The web page description says 1/2 inch rigid, but that is incorrect. further down the page are the Gardner specs which specifically say 1/2 inch EMT and NOT 1/2 inch rigid, so watch that! I also have the 961 which does 3/4 EMT and it DOES 1/2 inch rigid. The 961 I bought to pre0bend 3/4 PEX pipe before mounting in a support bracket. Works great! Both the 960 and 961 have 3/4 NPT pipe threads for a handle. I ordered another brand to do 3/4 and it had a burr right where the pipe goes; unreal. That would have put a nice cut in my plastic pipe. These from Gardner are well deburred excellent castings.

works well for a manual bender
For simple bends on long pipe, I find this works great. It is tricky to not get the pipe too kinked, but generally leaves a clean bend, and if you do a lot of conduit or have a complex curve is cheaper than buying pre-bent pipe. I had a harder time trying to make more complex bends towards the end of a pipe when i lose leverage, and had to get very creative.

A tough, light weight bender
I really have no business owning a conduit bender, but I needed to add some surface mounted outlet boxes in my shop and decided to do it myself, using 1/2" and 3/4" EMT. I used a piece of 3/4", schedule 40 threaded pipe, about 60" long, for the handle. This worked, but I bent it a bit before I was finished with the project. It took me a while to learn how to use the bender and get the conduit bends in the right place. If you're new to conduit bending, I suggest watching a couple of the many Youtube videos on the subject before you start. I thought that using the bender seemed pretty easy, so I didn't bother watching any of the videos until I was ready to give up in frustration. Also, buy a couple of extra lengths of conduit, because you're bound to mess up a few times.

The reference lines are worth the extra $10
Angle reference lines are cast into this part in a way that makes it easy for home-gamers like myself to make matching bends. I cheaped out on another bender for 3/4" conduit and my results are shoddy.

Great product but major typo in description.
In the description at the top of the page it says the head fits a BH75 handle but it doesn't. It only fits a BH100 handle which Amazon doesn't sell by itself. I would have purchased both as a set if had known... If I had read further down the page I would have seen the correct info so I can't be too upset about it. Please fix the typo before someone else makes the same mistake. Overall I'm very happy with the product. Thanks!

Not great! Or even good
The media could not be loaded. Bend to arrow is not 8 inches like it should be, but instead 6-7/8”. 👎Ripples pipe👎 even with a smooth even bend.Out of the box, seems like high-quality👍 but doesn’t function.
