Worked better than I thought, pumped transmission fluid out of bucket for easier filling.
The media could not be loaded. This pump was a life-saver, we used it initially to pump transmission fluid out of 5-gallon buckets into jars we could safely and neatly pour into a funnel to fill the transmission of the old El Camino we were working on restoring.I plan to use it in the future for hydraulic fluid pumping into backhoes, skidsteers, and tractors.Self primes and pumps fast, so be ready. This product saved my back and prevented a possible mess on the floor of the garage. I wish it came with a longer output hose to reach farther, that is the only thing I would recommend to improve it.

Cheaply made
If you pay anything for this, then you are over paying....Let's start with the threaded tubes that go down into the barrel. I seriously didn't think you could get tube walls that thin. Any thinner and they wouldn't be there. The threads cut into the tube walls are horrible. It was terrible to try to thread these together, but I finally got them done. There's this really super cheap plastic flexible hose that is supposed to go onto the end out of spout to help direct your oil or diesel. Yeah, don't bother. It just falls off. Once again, super thin plastic. It's like someone gave them a challenge to make the cheapest possible barrel pump. They succeeded in that. The only problem is that I think I broke it before I even got a chance to put it in my barrel to try it out.Ugh. Waste of time.

Does it’s job well, a little top-heavy
So far, after weeks of using this manual pump, I’ve had no issues. There’s no guide or instructions on how to put it together but it just takes a little intuition and you’ll be fine! Took me maybe 15 minutes to do.I made sure to use the sealing tape provided and have had no issues with leaking so far. It’s quite greasy inside the gears but it makes for a smooth spin. The top is obviously heavier than the pipe below so I had some trouble with it tipping at first but a tighter connection can help solve that problem.

If you've got stuff in a barrel, and you want it out of the barrel, this will do it!
This is a pretty run of the mill barrel pump. You put it in the liquid, move the moving thingy, and then liquid comes out. Easy peasy!Arrived in good shape, and exactly as described!

Immediately Broke
Imagine cheap pot metal. Whatever this is made of is a grade below that. The siphon line down into the drum, the threads on it were horribly cut. I guess that's what happens when you use aluminum foil thickness metal. The crank is already binding inside. The collar that threads into the barrel is oblong.Box, broken parts and accessories now temporarily reside in my shop trash can.
