Healthy young red mangroves!
The media could not be loaded. These red mangroves are excellent! I ordered 20 and received a bonus 9 for a total of 29 from this seller. They were packaged well and arrived earlier than expected. The mangroves came with a printed out care page for those who may need information on how to be care for them.I’ve been keeping red mangroves in my reef aquariums for some time as a form of natural nutrient export to supplement the macro algae I also have in the system. What I’ve found is the most important thing to do is getting them in freshwater first, and then slowly acclimating them to standard saltwater salinity 1.024-1.026 over a period of 2-3 weeks. Mangroves can handle going from salt to fresh pretty well. It’s the change from going fresh to salt that can make the tree stress if the acclimation process is rushed.I inspected all 29 of the young red mangroves and gently squeezed the stem. If they are firm and NOT mushy it’s generally a good indicator of its health. They all came with roots(some bigger & some smaller) and I carefully separated them from one another and buried them in the sand along with some root tabs.I highly recommended these rhizophoramangle and the seller for the health, quality, & care.5 full stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Size were great and healthy. It grew well in my fish tank as an aquaponic filter system. Color was great and ready to grow. You pay for what you get lol
