We have a small business where we build custom crates. We use the Tip-N-Tells on every single electronic item and high value artwork we crate. Today's super flat TVs have to be shipped in an upright position. Laying them flat over a long haul can cause damage. Using these Tip-N-Tells is great because then the shipper thinks twice before laying it down the wrong way. If an item is lay3d over, the blue beads inside the clear window run in the direction of the tip and stick. There is not running back even if the item is set back up right for a long period of time. Using these is also a way to protect ourselves from claims. We photograph every crate we build and we lable our Tip-N-Tells in a very unique way so that when a product gets to the other side, if it is damaged, we ask for a picture of the Tip-N-Tell and the serialized Shockwatch (another highly recommended layer of protection). If the photos don't match our labeling, we know someone else damaged the product during shipment. We have actually had occasion where someone took off the labels and pretended that we damaged the TV but our unique labeling and photos saved us from an expensive claim. At less than $2 each, these are a great way to protect yourself if you ship a lot of high dollar items.
