Good for hot, but not for cold.
I got this for my wife to use for cold therapy but also for hot when needed, however it barely gets cold. It was kept in the freezer for hours prior to use and it was just cool when taken out and didn’t last long. However, it works great in the microwave and seems to hold heat for a good amount of time. The pack feels quality made which is nice. I like the print on it, it is very earthy and unisex in my opinion.

Well-made and works great
I'm pretty impressed with this premium hot/cold pack. It is very well made and has a quality look & feel to it. It is soft and comfy, and does a pretty decent job of retaining heat for hot compress. So far I have used it for hot compress and it works great. It is soothing and therapeutic. The construction is top-notch while the graphics design is attractive. The cotton flannel cover is soft and yet sturdy. It is filled with natural oats but not too bulky. It is flexible enough to wrap comfortably around neck, shoulders, etc. The stitching is well done. There is a large product info tag but you can easily cut it away. This comes packaged in a flip-top cardboard box and sleeved in an eco-friendly bag. Overall, this is a great hot/cold pack. It works great for hot compress and has pretty decent heat retention. It can also be used for cold compress. Made in Canada. Reasonably priced for the quality. I really like it. Great product.

very well made oat filled cotton warming pad
I have a couple older warming packs filled with various grains, mostly corn. I really like this oat one for a number of reasons, one is that the oats are smaller and conform better to my skin. The quality of the stitching is fantastic, there's even a label stitched into the end.It did come packaged with a warranty card. I'm guessing that the same warranty card is used across all of their products because it didn't have usage instructions for this specific item. For somebody who is new to this type of warm pack instructions would be helpful, I'm fairly confident I know how to use it so it's not a big deal for me personally.Heating instructions: place it on a clean plate inside of a clean microwave and microwave for a maximum of 2 minutes. Wait at least 10 minutes before reheating. For a cold pack, seal it in a plastic bag (to avoid picking up freezer odors) and freeze for 2 to 3 hours before use.The pattern I got shows deer and trees in silhouette against the starry sky. I wasn't sure from looking at my phone whether it was a dark green or a navy blue, was hoping for navy blue but it is dark green. Still very pretty and my favorite of the three patterns available when I ordered it.

Handmade from Canada. Quality product.
I love these types of heat packs. I have a similar one I've had for years that is filled with rice and lavender, so, I was excited to order this one. What I liked:• Quality handmade product with finished stitching and tight seams.• Made with 100% cotton felt type fabric. (Although you do have to use 100% cotton if you are going to microwave. Anything other than 100% cotton fabric or stuffing will catch on fire.)• Can quickly heat in microwave at 30 sec intervals up to 2 minutes to achieve your desired hotness. I had mine in for a total of 1 minute.• Comes packaged in a nice box• Instruction label sewn in on end seam.• Filling made from natural product - Canadian oats. Would have been nice if lavender or other herbs had been added for a relaxing aroma.• Can be used hot or cold. For cold, place in a tightly sealed plastic bag and freeze for at least 2 hours.• Love the fabric patterns available. I chose the winter landscape. So pretty and relaxing.• Comes with a 12-month warranty if you register online.• Appears to have excellent customer service and cares about their customers and their products. My concerns:There are a lot of written warnings on the labels regarding possibility of fire. While it is good to have this on the label, I was concerned to even try the product after reading all this in the instructions (taken from label):• Keep away from heat sources and high humidity• Always keep your hot pack away from flammable objects to prevent smoke, fire, or burns.• Heat in 30-second intervals to reach desired temperature. Total heating should not exceed 2 minutes.• Attention, heating for over 2 minutes can cause hot spots and contents can catch fire!• Heat the pad in a clean microwave on a clean plate. Oil stains and food residue will increase the risk of fire.• Never heat it over 2 minutes!• Reheating product in same session should be done after 1-hour minimum. The instructions mention that “storing the pad in the freezer will preserve the filling ingredients longer”. This made me wonder how long the filling will last and if it has an expiration date.Overall, I do like the quality of this product and would recommend as long as people follow the directions and precautions on the label. Price is reasonable. Would make a lovely gift.

Beautifully Handmade
This hot/cold pack is beautifully handmade with a lovely designed print, and made of 100% cotton. It is so soft and comfortable and filled with 100% Canadian oats. The careful packaging and included thank you note, really adds a personal touch. I prefer to use it for a hot pack, but it can be used as a cold pack as well when placed in the freezer for 2 hours. I warmed mine in the microwave for 30 seconds which wasn't long enough, so I warmed it for an additional 30 seconds and it was just right for me. I have used it on my knee, neck, and even for my dog's tummy. He liked the warmth near him as it made him comfortable. It had that effect on me too and helped ease my soreness with added relaxation. With various designs available, this hot/cold pack would actually make a nice gift, I mean after all, who couldn't use a pack like this from time to time. It's not only durable, it's handmade with love and that is the best gift to give. I would highly recommend this product. AAA+++
