SINGER 00294 Metallic-Coated Safety Pins, Colors may vary and Sizes, 35-Count,

My order came very quickly and well wrapped. I prefer the metallic colors --easily matched to an item or project -- and the sizes in the package. I've purchased some in the past and was glad to find they are still available.I am pleased with my order.

Various sizes of safety pins and they are made well but obviously when it’s made by singer you get what you pay for. They are sharp they are sturdy they bend and close easily as well as being very affordable.

Just began sewing and needed safety pins for patterns. These work great and don't pull on the fabric or paper to make holes. I am also using them to color organize my backpack. Great to have on hand for many reasons.

This latest purchase Dec 2023 found burrs on all of the pins from 3 packages - not the experience I had ~5 years ago when I first bought them. I baste my quilt projects with safety pins - the curved ones were never sharp enough. I found these & was amazed at how much sharper they were. The sharpness made a big difference in easing the pins through 3 quilt layers. I thought the colorful pins were fun too.This time, each pin had a burr near the tip. I kept a portable knife sharpener nearby & poked each pin into the sharpening edges a couple of times which took care of the issue. It scrapped a bit of the colored finish off but a small price to pay. I went online to find recommendations for Royal brand safety pins - they're just plain silver though - no fun colors.

I use these on clothing when I don't want them to be glaringly visible like standard silvery ones. Wish there were even more color options, but the ones provided are nice enough.

These are pretty metallic coated several different sized safety pins. Probably good for crafts. But the pin comes open if much stress is placed on the closure part. The head of the pin will open up enough to release the pointed part, too. Seems like the wire to make these is thinner than the plain pins.

Who doesn't use safety pins from time to time? I know I do, and these safety pins are nice to keep on hand. Even though they have a metallic finish, they actually are not as noticeable as a standard safety pin because it is a muted metallic. Having a box of assorted sizes kept me from having to purchase multiple boxes in order to have a variety of sizes to suit the need. I love them and will be buying more of them when I need to refill my safety pin stash.

After reading all the reviews on safety pins available ( I had no idea there would be so many!) I bought these to use for cloth masks. They are great colors and sharp, sturdy, and high quality. Did not bend at all pushing through two layers of elastic.Will definitely buy again!
