Q: What is the expiration date? And confirming 56 packets total? (I assume two packs means two boxes of 28?) the "two packs" is confusing,

I did not originally get the advertised two boxes of 28 packets each. I had to contact Amazon to confirm they'd refund me if I purchased a second pack in order to get the advertised two boxes. I advised they take down the "2 pack" note since it seemed inaccurate, yet it's still there, as of 2015-08-22. Bottom line, you may or may not get two boxes. Amazon at least seems willing to ultimately give you two for the price of one, but they may make you work for it :/

The container does not list any vitamins being included. The main ingredient is wheat dextrin. Also stated is that is is gluten free.Hope this helps.

Q: Pine tar? What does this mean: "The exclusive Pine tar-free moisturizing formula contains avocado oil, glycerine and mineral oil for added moisture."

Benefiber has NONE of those ingredients. What you describe perhaps belongs to some moisturizer.
