Q: Does it strip your hair color?

I would say no more than any other regular shampoo I use it 3 times a week and my color starts to fade at the 4 th week

Q: Can you use the shampoo alone?

I've been using the shampoo by itself for over a year. I tried adding another product hoping to improve my results and it turned out to be a waste of time and money. I use this as my main shampoo for everyday use and have not lost any more hair. I've gotten a little bit back. You will probably want to follow with a conditioner for thin hair. Hope it helps :)
