DELICIOUS STUFF
DELICIOUS STUFF. I had been smuggling the stuff back from the Mother Land, I only got caught twice. Once in Paris, once at JFK. The customs agent in Paris asked, "Are you trying to hide a salami?" good thing I did not answer in my usual smart aleky way. This brand is the real deal. Please enjoy it.

Not as good in flavor as PICK
I tried this one to compare to the PICK Hungarian and found that the flavour is not as good as the PICK. On the other hand, taste is something that is different to an individual. For example: I don't like fish, a friend of mine likes fish very much. I don't like Beacon, a friend of mine loves beacon.So here you have it. It's all a matter of taste!Price wise you'll be somewhat compensated and get a slightly larger amount.All over, I like this one, but would prefer the PICK..

Close to the original
This American made salami comes close to its Old World inspiration. I also like their Csabai salami -- both are made by Bende in Illinois. Since I can't find it locally, I mail order a supply during cold parts of the year (fall through spring, I avoid risks of shipping food in hot summer months), then freeze whole salami sections until needed. Peel, slice thinly, and enjoy!

Does not taste like Hungarian salami at all
Not sure if the people who reviewed this salami have actually tasted authentic Hungarian salami, but this doesn’t not taste like Hungarian salami at all. This salami tastes like Cotto salami pressed as a Genoa. So it tastes fine but not what I was expecting. I can get something similar to this at any grocery store. The name is misleading. You just can’t get European rating salami in the USA. Period.

Arrived spoiled
It arrived spoiled. It was as hot as if I had it in the microwave. The seller cannot ship this way during the hot summer months

Can't taste meat at all cause it is terribly overloaded with preservatives
Can't taste meat at all cause it is terribly overloaded with preservatives, to extreme, leaves horrible aftertaste in the mouth - would not buy it again nor would recommend it to anyone
