Extra-Coarse Pumi Bar

I used to use this product when I lived in the States, and loved it for how easily it sloughed off my calluses. I ordered one recently, but when it arrived I suddenly had the thought, "what is this made from?" Turns out it is a foamed typre of polyurethane—I.E. plastic whipped with air. As you use it, tiny pieces of this plastic will be worn away. These will flow down your drain, to your local wastewater plant, into our public waterways, and onwards to the sea (according to studies by the University of Leeds). I would only recommend this product if you really feel comfortable with the notion of having soft skin at the expense of our environment.

Feel apart first time I tried to use it...poor, ineffective and definitely not what I felt was advertised. I have professional pedicures once a month so my feet and nails weren't exactly like Hobbits.....Too much hassle to return for a busy bloke but serious thumbs down
