Planning for a vacation I realized we wouldn't have room to travel with a stroller and would need some sort of relief from carrying around my son who is 10 months old. I racked my brain over purchasing a body wrap or a wearable harness get up. None of these would be good solutions because at his age he often wants to get down and move around and then be held shortly after. A hip carrier was the best solution, I thought. After searching for them I couldn't bring myself to pay the high dollar prices for some on the market. this one however seemed to ticked all of the boxes. After reading many reviews I purchased this one.Oh! My! Goodness! While on vacation we went to museums, the beach, restaurants, and so much more. This hip carrier was perfect! My son had the flexibility to enjoy reaching out for things and getting down and back up quickly. After a while my arm was tired from supporting his back, but this beats the ache I would have had just holding him without it or using a full on carrier.Since the trip I have used it when my son was sick and wanted to be held constantly. Also, when he just needs some contact time and wants to be on me while I'm cooking dinner. lolThe foam seat is a study block. The material is durable and I imagine would be able to be spot cleaned easily or washed in the washing machine (after removing the foam block). I like the neutral look. No patterns or different textures. Versatile for me or my husband to wear.

I have a huge 11 month old (28 lbs) and this definitely helped relieve my arm/back/shoulder, but it was still tough to carry him around for a long time. Made it tougher on my legs, felt like I was wearing ankle weights walking around. Not bad though!

This is perfect and I've only used it once for around 30 minutes!!

I was hoping this would help me out carrying my daughter on hikes, unfortunately it wouldn’t get tight enough and slipped down way too much making it unusable for me. I have a 32” waist and from the description I thought it would fit fine but even with the strap all the way tight it didn’t. That said, the quality was fine and I like that it’s all cotton, so it may work just fine for most people.

I mean it. Could not survive without it. My son does not like to be held facing in. He HAS to be facing out to see what’s going on at all times. And he hates being restricted so a full body carrier and his car seat are both out of the question. So shopping, hiking, daily chores, strolling with family, events, literally any reason and this bad boy gets brought out. He has even napped sitting on it. Absolutely love this thing.

I was excited to try it out when it arrived, but my husband (who is a bean sprout) beat me too it. He said that it dug into his hip when he tried it with our 1.5 year old. Then I tried it, it wouldn't go small enough for me. Also when my kid was sitting on it the bottom part of the seat also dug into my hip. It "sags" per say when he is sitting on it(he is within weight range) and it becomes very uncomfortable. Upon further investigation of the product, the seat is just a foam block not a frame. This doesn't provide any good support for the parent. Overall, this company has the right idea for this product, but it needs improvement.

This is the best! Buy it! I’ve had it for over a year and I can’t believe I never had one for my firstborn and that I didn’t have it for my second until she was over a year old. This thing is a back and arm saver!
