Worked great, but I returned it
It's a nice good quality built tool. I got the aluminum housing version which I prefer due to being oldschool I guess, no other reason. I returned it because I didn't realize how small it was. I needed something more powerful so ended up going with the edge series.

Updated from 4* to 5* Nice little tool. But it is not perfect.
update January 2020. I still regularly use this die grinder and it works great. I did end up filing down the backside of the safety so that I can semi engage the trigger without having to flip the lever. This is still a good tool, all I do is drip a few drops of oil in it every once in a while. I still have difficulty removing bits but that is not a dealbreaker for me.Original review April 2017. This is very small and works well. I did have a few issues with it. The safety on the handle makes it very awkward to use. Also I have had trouble removing bits from this tool. I usually have to get a pair of pliers to pull out the bit, I don’t think it should be grabbing quite that tight. Now that I am thinking about it the two wrench system to change bits is a little frustrating as well. I don’t know if another manufacturer has solve that issue, but there is definitely room for improvement.

Great product
My 20 + year old IR died and my cheap replacement/spare was so loud I couldn't use it. Thankful to have another IR die grinder....SO QUIET !!!

Ingersol Rand 307B Die Grinder
Ingersol 307B Straight Air Die Grinder is much more compact than I expected. It's physical size is as small or smaller than my Dremmel tool. I purchased this unit to port match an aluminum intake manifold to a set of cylinder heads and find this tool the perfect choice (very small, light and 28K RPM speed). Unit comes with two collets with the larger accepting 1/4" standard diameter tool shafts and another (provided loose in baggie) is marked 6mm. Two flat wrenches are provided for tightening bits in the collets. You will need to install an air fitting (purchased separately) to match your air hose fitting. This tool appears to be a made very high quality and with normal care, should last a lifetime. Having quality tools helps me do the best job possible.

Good buy!
I’ve been using this grinder in an industrial setting and it works like a charm. It feels good in the hand and is also very compact. It also has all the power needed to tackle tough jobs. The only thing I dislike is that it’s a little louder than I expected.
