LEGOFriends Heartlake Hospital 41318 Building Kit (871 Piece)

We purchased this set for my 9 year old daughter. It included 7 separate set up bags and a single nice bound instruction book. We worked together on the hospital lobby, as it was the most complicated part ad we like to work together. She did the other rooms on her own. This is probably the nicest set we have so far and a nice addition to the bedrooms, houses, and pools we have done in the past.We would recommend it!

So far so good.... My daughter has been asking for this for over 2 years now.... Up until the birthday she just had on the 13th, I was leary that it was too advanced for her, especially at the price it is.... I decided this year that she has wanted it for this long, she deserved a chance. She was up at 8am this morning, sitting at the window waiting for the Fed Ex truck..... when it came she was ecstatic!!! It is now 6:50pm and she has been working on it all day! Hasn't even changed from her PJs...lol... I asked her if she wanted help building it and she said no, she wanted to do it herself(that's my girl!) She is having so much fun.... it is sectioned off into 7 different bags, with each room/item divided into steps. I really appreciated that because as I said before, I was concerned it was a little above her level. She had done many of the smaller sets before but nothing this big.... But since they divided it this way, and separated the rooms and everything, it has been very manageable for her. Almost like having 7 of the smaller sets that fit together to form the hospital. Therefore I do not regret this purchase at all. She has it almost complete now(built in one day, but she hasn't stopped working on it except to eat meals), has thoroughly enjoyed it, is excited to play with it after it complete and because of how well instructions/process was done it was within her capabilities. Challenging enough to keep her engaged but not so difficult that it became frustrating or overwhelming. Very happy that my daughter is enjoying this so much. I may actually get her the rest she wanted now that I see how well Legos did at designing these larger sets.

Great gift for my 6 yr old daughter. The escalator moves, and she loves all the shops. The baby is a unique character. Great gift, and she put it together herself!

My 8 & 9 year old are OBSESSED with lego bricks & especially Lego Friends sets! They originally wanted a different set but it was sold out as it was so close to the holiday, so we ordered this one since they have a few tiny hospital & vet sets anyways - well, they LOVE it! Great quality of course, good amount of pieces (I usually don't buy ones with less than 1000: we like challenges! But 800+ is good too) lots of little accessories & my girls LOVE the helicopter & ambulance it comes with, and clear instructions: they put it together without my help this time. As usual with lego, you almost can't go wrong with any set but this is a lovely addition to their ever expanding collection - they like to build lego villages, cities etc and a city isn't complete without a hospital! Thanks again for an awesome addition to the Lego friends line, we look forward to purchasing many, MANY more sets... If I had my way, I would probably own every lego set there is lol I'm a big kid at heart myself & although this is for my kids, I enjoy building it WITH them....got to love something that feeds your imagination, creativity, hand-eye coordination as well as promotes family bonding!!!

I had been eyeing up this particular LEGO set for weeks, checking daily between Walmart and amazon for pricing. Of course it was the same price until closer to when I bought it for $25 plus more. It’s over priced, but daughter wouldn’t stop talking about it for weeks. I get that’s it’s LEGO and it is a quality product, but so expensive for it in general. I love the LEGO friends set for girls. This particular set is retired from 2017

My 9 year old daughter stared all moon-eyed at this for months. It was all she talked about in the weeks leading up to Christmas.I was so excited to buy this for her, to see her expression when she ripped off the paper. I wasn't disappointed! This was the toy she went to first to play with.There are a lot of pieces and I was concerned that it may be too difficult for her, as she doesn't have too long an attention span for things like this-- She'd rather skip right to the playing. So I was surprised to see her sit and see this through. The directions were clear and easy to follow and the Lego pieces came in numbered bags which simplified the assembly even more.It took her a few hours to build start to finish, but she was able to complete it independently.After the building was complete, she delighted in all of the little components: the little individual rooms, all with a specific purpose, the ambulance, the helicopter, the skeleton. This is by far her favorite set (and she has many!) Nearly 3 months later, she still plays with it often.

Lego friends is a staple item for my daughter's christmas and birthday lists every year. This is a great set and at $20 less than what it was on lego.com, we couldn;t go wrong getting it on Amazon. If we could just find more space to store the completed sets, we would be in good shape because lego just won't quit making new sets every year. She is currently building this set and it appears to be one of the best looking ones for the Friends series to date,

I bought this for my, then 7-year-old daughter, who loves Legos a lot! I was not sure she would be able to put it together due to the number of pieces involved, however, she was able to put it together with just a few missed steps. The instructions are extremely well written. Also, after she had built it, she lost the instructions for it. She was so upset that she could not rebuild it exactly the same way it was before after it fell and broke apart. I was able to easily go online and find instructions to print off for her! Lagos is the best for teaching kids how to follow directions and experience missteps along with the pride in the construction! It challenges my daughter just enough to encourage her to keep going and not to give up!
