I have always thought my PS4 pro (launch model) was loud from day 1. The day warranty was up, I pulled it apart to try and replace the thermal paste in an effort to drop down the temps, and by extension, the fan noise.I completely overlooked the thermal pads that time, and it is no wonder why it didn't quiet down a lot. After having enough of the jet engine sound when playing demanding games, I started to look at other ways to help cool it down. After checking for thickness, I decided to try and replace the thermal pads with something better.Upon closer inspection this time, it is amazing this thing could cool at all. The factory pads on the VRM's are maybe half the size they need to be, and weren't even aligned at the centers. Pads on the ram looked better size-wise, but were still not aligned.I purchased this, and it is just enough to get a PS4 pro done on both the VRMs as well as memory, with basically just scrap pieces to spare. Cut all pads to fit, and made sure they were centered when putting together. It is a night and day difference for me. Between this and my trusty MX4 thermal paste, she is running much cooler now! It still ramps up quite a bit under load, but it is at least a large step below Boeing 747 takeoff! Kind of spendy for the amount of material you are buying..but it works great, and I am super happy with the results!

The Thermal Grizzly Pads works great for an upgrade for the PS4 Pro. I have the 7100 model which is more quiet than the 7000 PS4 Pro model, but still not efficient when it comes to cooling due to the poor quality cooling system Sony put into the PS4 Pro consoles.I replaced the poor quality thermal pads on the memory ram, but also replaced the pads on the vram(some people forget to do this). The old thermal paste already dried up due to it's poor quality. I used my trusty Artic MX4 thermal paste due to it's long-term durability and great cooling results, especially on my desktop computers.I'm happy to report that the PS4 Pro 7100 is more quiet than I first purchased this model back in April 2018, but the cooling is noticeably better as well. I tested high demanding games on Pro such as God of War, Horizon and Red Dead 2. The system was so silent that I had to open the top cover just to be sure the fan was on, which it was.Highly reccomend these great thermal pads.

I was doing a deshroud mod on a gigabyte 6700xt "screaming" eagle that was putting out like 65db at load. Swapping the crummy tiny fans for some Noctua PF-14s these pads and CM cryofuze. I am seeing ridiculously lower temps of 26-27c. The fans don't even turn on until games have been running for 5 minute or so (of course when they do, they are near silent).Thanks Thermal Grizzly.

The best in its class. I have used this multiple times, the last use for this was on a playstation 4 pro. I used this to replace the junk factory ones along with the matching thermal paste and this made a huge a difference on the fan running full blast. Prior to the fan ran full speed was very noisy and didnt blow out much heat. After the install fan has never ran full speed and puts out alot more heat. This product is the best and will be the only one i ever use again. Did this prior to with cheap product and didnt change anything... this product did and is awesome.

I used it on my PlayStation 4, because it would over heat and sound like a jet. Cleaning the heat sync and adding these made the performance boost dramatically

Used these to replace the original pads between my GPU's VRM & heatsink. Didn't really need it for extra cooling & I had to double stack them because they were the wrong size, but the original pads fell apart when I removed them & these were what I had on hand at the time.It did reduce their temps quite a bit though! VRM temps went from around 90C when stress testing down to around 60-70C under the same conditions. So it's safe to say I'm very pleased with them all things considered. lol

I bought these to replace the old crappy OEM pads in my PS4 Pro. After replacing them, the Fan runs at much lower speeds now, and I believe that is due to the better performance of the pads. I would highly recommend getting these.
