My Secret Sauce
This really enhances the flavor on chicken, steaks, pork and even soup. I use a Weber gas grill for speed and convenience. Adding liquid smoke gives the food a more char broiled taste. Word of caution, a little goes a long way. All you need is a few drops, don't apply it like BBQ sauce. The shelf life is over two years and it doesn't have to be refrigerated. This bottle will last a long time making it economical to use. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

What I love: 1
If you don't have a smoker, and want the taste of smoke, this is the way to go.What I love:1. There are only a few ingredients and I can pronounce them all!2. It is easy to cook with and you get a nice smokey taste3. You won't use much at a time, so this bottle will last a long time. What I don't love:1. All of these bottles look the same in my cabinet. Don't pick this up instead of vanilla (yes, that is from experience).

Great Product
Liquid smoke by Colgin is the best. I use this on all sorts of meats, and even in soups for flavor.

Nice enhancement
We have a new staple for our spice shelf. We've been trying this in a wide variety of foods and it has enhanced every one. It's great on meats, of course, but we've tried it in gumbo, cajun stews, rice and beans, lots of stuff. The smokey flavor gets addicting. Now we have to order the big bottle.

Mesquite is my favorite!
This is our favorite smoke flavor, and we always use it for making jerky. I have trouble finding it locally, so we got it online. We make many, many pounds of jerky to give away at Christmas and used the whole bottle.

Not quite there.
I ordered this product to replace my Wright's All Natural Hickory Seasoning which I had ordered several years ago and almost used up.Colgins does not measure up.When I compared the two it became clear that the Colgin product just does not have the rich full intense aroma and flavor of real wood smoke.I apologize for having to say that but whatever difference in the process between the two products, the Wrights smoke flavor carries with it the impression and scent of real smoke. The Colgins just seemed to be missing the full rich convincing aroma.
