3M-8210 Health Care Particulate Protection Respirator and Surgical N95 Mask (Pack of 20, White)

This was one of the first models of N95 masks made maybe the first one. Tight seal so that it can work as a N95 mask. Follow the instructions on how to wear for the tight seal. The other loose fitting N95 or made of other material is of no use in pollution or infectious diseases. But cannot be washed without losing its full effectiveness. Can wash once and use under normal circumstances. Ideally should be thrown away when becomes visibly dirty. Washing and dirt both block the mask pores and becomes difficult for breathing which is the same for all other masks. The surgical masks are of no use except for surgeons. Pollution and diseases cannot be prevented by using surgical masks. The elastic strings usually do not break but may break sometimes in rare occasions. Cheaper than the other actual N95 masks of 3m, honeywell etc brands. This is usually manufactured in Singapore.

Protects almost everything and is durable enough.Actually the protection of this mask is required only if you're staying in Delhi or very high polluted metro area.I used it approx 3 weeks in pune while daily commuting for 20kms in hinjewadi and works perfectly.Sometimes you may feel suffocating because you've not properly adjusted it at your nose.Do adjust it properly and use it till 3 weeks normally.For dust prevention only 9004IN PACK of around 15 masks in 160/- Rs. Probably would be enough and works almost perfectly and cheaper.

After using many N-95 masks I think I can write a comment here and also guide people who want to buy this for pollution and dirt protection.N-95 means this mask, if properly worn blocks at least 95% of very small (0.3 micron) test particles.This gives protection against dust/fume/mist (DFM) . Although my primary usage is in a hospital to prevent airborne infections, it can pretty well be used in extremely polluted cities like Delhi, for example. Compared to other N-95 respirators, I find this one to be soft and snugly fitting due to elastic bands. The lining around the mask fits snugly on nose. It can be used for up to 7 days, but ensure you store it clean, preferably in sunlight. Only drawback of any N-95 mask is rebreathing and suffocation, if worn for long periods. So all in all 3M has provided good quality respirators at this price.

1. 8210 is the classic model of 3M N95 respirators approved by NIOSH but not by FDA. These cannot be called Healthcare Particulate Respirator as the seller is claiming in this listing. Please do not be misguided. Healthcare Particulate Respirators have model nos 1860, 1870+ etc.2. The 20 pc. box of 8210 N95 I had ordered came with its 3M seal broken. Respirators from different lot Nos. have been mixed in that box so that a customer cannot go through 3M SAFEGUARD process for product authentication. All 20 respirators inside a box should have a single lot no. and a secure code pasted at the bottom of the box for product authentication. The seller should not have tampered with the box seal.3. While the MRP for 20 pc, box is Rs. 2000/- only, 11Pharma, the seller charged Rs. 2199/-.I DO NOT RECOMMEND A MEDICAL SUPPLY THAT HAS BEEN TAMPERED WITH.

The product is not comfortable on face. After wearing the mask deep impression were there on my face during a visit of 2 hours. The quality of rubber strings is poor. It is not soft but very hard also short in length.

I ordered this product from 11pharmaThe product arrived with its original packing and I was able to verify it using the code on 3m safeguard website.As for the mask itself it provides complete cover and a really tight seal. While the product gives you immense sense of security and does it job well it’s comparatively difficult to breathe in it compared to other n95 in the market ( maybe this is a consequence of the better seal it offers ). So if you willing to go through the extra trouble then order. Make sure you order the box of 20 to recieve it in its original packing. Other quantities of the mask will come loose without packing.

The price is reflected wrongly on the description. received only 5 pieces and not 4 sets of 5 pieces which makes the unit cost very high and not as depicted in the description
