LacosteL.12.12 Eau Fraiche, Pour Elle, 3 Fl oz

This perfume is amazing. The winner of any I have tried. Fresh, clean, light, with just a very light musky undertone, sweet and floral and citrus smelling and so fresh and light and long lasting. This is absolutely my favorite scent ever. A work of genius by Lacoste!

This is a much heavier scent than I was expecting for something named "fresh water" (eau fraiche), but perhaps the lesson is to use it enormously sparingly. It is a heavily floral scent with a touch of fruity. I think the Lacoste description above is quite apt, mentioning mandarin, magnolia, lily, white jasmine, patchouli, wood, and musk. I would say the flowers there are the prominent scents, and then the mandarin and other scents are the more subtle layers.The complexity of the scent is growing on me, though yes, next time I'll use the tiniest bit.L.12.12 is apparently the "code" for the first shirt Lacoste made in 1927, and is a current Lacoste campaign, with products for men, women, and kids. There are several scents for both men and women in the collection.

Smells clean.

I was looking for the perfect gift for my mother in law and wanted something that was fun but not too young. This is a nice sophisticated scent, it is floral with a hint of fruit that makes it a nice and complex. This is a wonderful day time perfume that is light and won't overpower the individual wearing it or anyone else in the room for that matter. My mother in law was very impressed and even called my husband several times to tell him how much she loved it! Great perfume to keep, also make a wonderful gift!

This perfume has a lightly floral, sweet and "active" scent, by which I mean a clean and fresh scent that's great for an all-day fragrance or when out and about. Rather than smelling like it's specifically for date night, it impresses when used in a more active setting.

I had high expectations for this based on the price & the description... I wish I had smelled it before purchasing, because I would have chosen the original Lacoste fragrance instead. It’s not unpleasant, but it’s nothing unique or special at all! There are many cheaper fragrances just like it.
