Vestil VST-3-Y Polyethylene Step Stool, 3 Step, Yellow

Steps arrived in a timely manner. I will be using these steps as a mounting block for my horse. Very well made and sturdy.

I live in a former funeral home, and the previous owners installed a coffin/body cargo elevator right on top of the half-flight of stairs leading from the garage down to the basement.Those old stairs under the elevator are still usable, but require moving the elevator up to the second floor each time you want to gain access. Also, the elevator has no safety brakes, and I'm always worried about the chain possibly breaking when someone's on the stairs and causing the elevator to crush them.There's a narrow gap next to the elevator that still allows access to the basement, but it's a steep drop and hard to climb up and down.This step stool is the *perfect* size for that gap and effortlessly solves my incredibly specific issue.Seems really sturdy too.(No I'm not removing the elevator, it's too useful for moving furniture)

My horse is 16 HH and I have a left hip issue, so this is a huge help with mounting him. When I use it, I am saddle height for mounting and can literally step INTO the stirrup and easily swing my right leg right over him, rather than struggling to pull myself up onto him.This block is a little taller than most 3-step blocks, but it’s stable and wide and sturdy to stand on. I don’t feel like I’m gonna fall off. The grip tape on the steps is great too, since it sits in the main arena with all the sand and dust. Highly recommend!!!

We were looking for a means for a Special Olympic athlete, that was not able to use the pool ladder, to get out of the pool. The person weighed over 200 pounds, so we needed something sturdy and no sharp edges. This worked perfectly. We stuck it in the pool and just had a volunteer hold it down, so it did float back up while the athlete went to step onto it. The nonslip strips on the steps were nice as well. Realize this may not be how people would use it, but it was worth the purchase for a person with disabilities to get out of the pool.

Unfortunately, I spray painted my name on this before trying it out, as it was about to rain and I wanted to get my name on it before I put it in the back of my pickup truck to take it to work.I spray paint my name on all my tools before they go to the jobsite, so once I got this I went right ahead and painted my name on the side, not thinking to actually step on it first.It looked rigid enough when I took it out of the box and I have over $10,000 in other Vestil equipment, so I had complete faith that this set of steps would be robust.Unfortunately, when you step on each step it feels like the middle of the step is going to break beneath your feet. There are three ribbed sections to each step and even wearing boots with a hard sole, it flexes so much you feel like it is going to break.I can't return it due to painting my name on it, so I'm stuck with this loser. Don't make the same mistake I did, stay away from this one.

This is not designed for outdoor use. If it gets wet it hold the rainwater inside. I had to drill drain holes on the bottom to allow it to drain.

Tall broad horse + short squat person = large mounting block.I love this step stool mounting block! Saw and used a neighbors at a horse show and had to get one for myself. Imagine my surprise finding it on Amazon. (Amazon you are amazing!!!) Life saving for the more mature folk out there that just can’t quite get the leg up those few vital inches needed for conventional sized 3-step mounting blocks. Best purchase I have made in a while and will be the first thing loaded for shows!
