CAST Iron Door Stops (Cat Handle)

The mold is very nice of a cat. Assembly was easy. Looks cute. I knew the size going in but still wish they made bigger version. My goal was to have a doorstop I didn't need to bend down to reach. That said, it is cute, decent weight to hold open old heavy doors and does its job.

Sits on my woodstove with other cat doorstops. Keeps the real cats safe.

The doorstop is very sturdy. The sitting cat is adorable. I liked it so much I bought two before I realized its only negative--the handle is too short!! I am only five feet and I have to bend over to move it. A longer handle would make this just about perfect! It gets harder to bend over the older you get! That's why I bought a doorstop with a handle. But it does hold my heavy door open. Overall, I'm satisfied.

There is a kiddie gate across our bathroom door that only needs be closed during when our grandbaby visits, or showers and such. I came across this kitty and decided to invite him into our home to see if he would be interested in the job of holding the kiddie gate open on the daily. Upon his arrival to my home, I inspected him for durability and his potential to achieve the requirements of the job position. On a trial basis I put him at his post, I have found him to be most polite and competent.He holds the gate most eloquently and when I need to close the gate, the sturdy handle he has attached to his back allows me to relocate him to guard the gate for me. He never complains, is lighter than most door centuries I have found, and seems to enjoy his weekly cleaning regiment. I couldn't have asked for a better candidate for the job. Very impressive.

Just the right height for me to slightly bend over, handle grab, and move this doorstop. Easily keeps our heavy guest bedroom door open. When not keeping the door open, kitty sits against an adjacent white wall, looking handsome.

NO PROBLEMS

Worthless....size of a kitten, hollowed out to it is a paper weight not heavy enough to hold door, smooth bottom so it slides on the floor. I guess we are to fill the hollow kitten with Lead to give it weight and glue on a base that won't slip on floors. into the trash it goes

If all the door stops I saw on Amazon, this was the cutest. Also, it does the job and the handle makes it easier to move around. I only wish it were a little heavier.

I love it and not just because I am a cat lover too. It is extremely functional and aesthetically cute. It is unobtrusive and has style with a helpful handle so you do not have to fully bend down to adjust the stopper. It is not heavy or cumbersome in any way to its surroundings. Happy to find a door stopper with some style rather than the traditional wedge under the door.

It doesn’t sit flat since one side of the bottom is thicker than the other.Thought maybe I could grind it down a bit but changed my mind when I noticed all the other flaws.There are several holes in it as well as rough spots like globs that didn’t get smoothed out.The hole where the pole screws in isn’t in the center and the handle goes on terribly crooked.It looks awful.I will take the cat part only(without the handle)& set it outside my home in the gravel where the crookedness won’t be so noticeable.I did not deal with the seller as I waited too long to attempt a return.It didn’t get opened for quite a while since I was preparing for a move.Perhaps I got a dud,the other reviewers seemed to be happy with theirs.

Listen to the other reviews and skip this item. The handle would not go in straight and the cat had a very bad wobble. But the worst part was the casting was done so poorly it deformed the face.

It’s decorative, but would not keep the door open. ! Useless
