LenovoMiix 2 11.6-Inch Detachable 2 in 1 Touchscreen Laptop (59435483)

I ordered the Leveno Miix and returned it because I couldn’t get the keyboard to work so I contacted Leveno support and this computer is 11 years old out of life and no longer supported but I was charged a restocking fee of $171.00 which is totally ridiculous for something that was advertised as brand new and obviously not!

This is the cost efficient gear to fit your business or academic life.I have used HP, Samsung, Compaq, LG, Asus, etc. This time I was looking for something which has competitive performance, small screen but bigger than current popular tablet, light-weight portability working as a lap top. Also it should be within reasonable price range. Comparing Surface pro 3 & Mac pro with this one, I could see certain strong competitiveness.pros :competitive 4 major points performance hardwares ( 8 gb ram, 256 gb SSB HDD, Core i5 intel processor, suitable resolution 1920 x 1200 pixels good enough for 11.6 inch screen)competitive 2 major potable hardware (acceptable light weight.. tablet only for 0.8kg, reasonable battery capacity for 8 hours at low consumption like other laptopsSo far it demonstrate powerful compatibility as a window based laptop. I can enjoy windows based sofware.Poweful JBL sound & speaker, this is pleasant bonus finding for you.3 USB ports allow you to broaden your accessory type/preference and to save future budget.cons :relatively small keyborad without fuction key. However, as long as you want tablet, this is not only Lenovo's problem. In fact, other tablet-pc's keyboards are not as good as this one.lack of paper manual may bring certain concern at the initial stage. But if you follow your instinct then you may have no problem to set up this pc on Window 8.1.I usally use this boy as a laptop on my desk so if the erection angle of tablet screen is adjustable, it will overcome its most critical drawback. Of course you can adjust the height of chair or desk but I rely on small supporter or a book putting it beneath this keyborardOverall, pros as a tablet pc has fundamental strengths which overule cons. Hardware competiveness is satisfied and portable laptop has flexbility to be converted to tablet which have still been developing.In addition, if you have sufficient budget and care about the brand name so much, you may go to more than 1300 to 1500 bucks laptop or tablet pc. No more circulating.But if you are aware that technology flies so fast and you are more on pratical life, you may have option to select the cost efficient hardware and style for next 2~3 years use. Also you may have option to buy cool wireless kepyboard, mouse or stand. Hence, if you are in line with major concerned poitns herein, I highly recommend you to consider this machine.

Sometimes you have to re-dock it for windows to recognize.2) Can not use except for on perfectly level surfaces (see #1)3) Cant stream netflix without stuttering (Chrome is better than FF, but fact remains), seems weighed down by win 8? My chromebook did it fine, so not sure why, can only blame windows.4) Keyboard is terrible. There is ~ where the 1 key belongs.5) Continuation of #4, the keyboard is very hard to type on.6) The screen is basically a mirror. Good luck in anything other than a pitch black room.Basically, I cant say enough bad about this computer. This has been a constant pain since I purchased it.Purchasing a new XPS 13. I cant wait to get rid of this POS.

The tablet does not connect to the keyboard very well at all and i had to use paper clips to prop the screen in a position that it would work.

Does everything my Sony Vaio better; from a Windows 10/MS Office standpoint including MS Project which was key; performance is excellent. The foot print is efficient and very accommodating especially when flying on regional jets. the detachable keyboard works very well from a finger/key placement. Display is outstanding in comparison to the Vaio. My only complaint is that the JBL woofer still does not work; had to back shift to the Windows 8.1 driver to keep it from crackling when connected to the keyboard otherwise the sound quality without the keyboard is great. I expect that an updated driver should correct the issue. I would give it 5 stars except for the keyboard sound issue.

The link between keyboard and pad works well.The screen perfomance is very niceIt is very uesful padPS if you want to update Bios whitch download from Lenove,you shoud rename that .cap file xxxx43 as xxxx42.

Very good for the price the chargeing USB could used as data USB3 both tablet specification and Keyboard are very good
