This is a nice-looking magnetic chalkboard. The wood frame is made of solid wood and built well. The color of the wood was lighter than I had expected, but I was able to stain it a darker brown without any issues.The magnets that came with the board aren't the greatest, but they work. I have my own magnets, and they stick really well to the board. I haven't tried the chalk pen, so I don't know if it's good or not.The reason I gave this a 4-star is because the protective covering on the chalkboard was really difficult to get off. I think the covering might have been placed on the board before the frame was put on because I could not get the covering to come off around the edges. I had to use an exacto knife to remove the pieces that stuck to the edges, which was a bit troublesome.Overall, this is a great magnetic chalkboard and looks perfect on my wall.

This is a great board. I wanted something to have in my cubical to keep track of tasks each week. The chalk marker worked fine for me (I read some reviews saying it wasn't good) It is pretty easy to clean (I have to use 2 Clorox wipes) and the quality is better than I thought it would be since some reviews said it felt cheap. I didn't see any reviews about how it hangs, so I included pictures of the back hanging parts. I used little cubical/office wall hooks I bought from Amazon to hang this. (Officemate Panel Wire Hooks, Silver, Box of 24 (30190)) The magnets are cheap feeling/looking, but they are strong.

Perfect! Bought this to write quotes on to motivate me. It's such a pretty framed board and the marker it came with shocked me ! Usually those chalk markers are basically permanent and end up ruining my chalkboards. But this one is perfect and wipes off so easily. It also came with pieces to hang the board on a wall if you want to. But I just have mine propped up on my dresser :) great find !

Arrived on time, and as described. It is the perfect size for our space, we live in an RV, answer have no metal to hold magnets. There have been a lot of complaints re: the included chalk- ours was also dry when it arrived, as would be expected, but we followed the instructions and gave it some time to adjust and it worked just fine. Very happy with this purchase

I found my perfect go-to chalk board for chalk markers! Comes in great packaging, a protective film over the board, and a big marker. I have yet to use the marker, since I have opened markers that I've been using. I have purchased twice for wedding gifts, and will keep purchasing for every wedding I have in the future! Great gift for decoration, and they can re-use for their home!

Pretty great, but after erasing chalk marker a few times the frame kind of warped a little so it no longer lays totally flat. But still overall it's decent!

Hi, if you like doodling or like to keep a list of things to do, you would love this. I got this because i like aesthetically pleasing things in my room. It is sleek, it is useful for inspiration quotes(mine varies from day to day) or like to leave cute little notes for your SO or kids this is perfect. It is clean doesnt leave chalk dusts and mess everywhere. It even comes with a little marker pen. So yea in short it is amelazeballs :)
