Did not work on my 1998 dodge dakota 3.9l v6
While it did technically fit, it did not function, and immediately started bucking and throwing check engine code for throttle position sensor. The housing is a bit smaller than the old one, and the plug is upside down compared to the old one, but the pins appear to be the same. It just did not work, the problem actually seemed worse after install. I bought a duralast at autozone, it looks like it solved the problem

did not work as expected
initial problem of pulsing idle led to this part when installed it was fine then the check engine light came on I went to a local shop they used a code scanner and it indicated a bad TPS (24 / 25 ) The technician read the sensor and said it should be 5 ohms and dod not see any value. Then said, I think you got a bad part. This TPS was indicated as correct for my truck is there any way to confirm it is the correct part? Thank you! 10/14/2020 the truck keeps kicking out the TPS failure code. Took it to a Dodge dealer for service they found your TPS voltage range is incorrect causing the failure. An OEM TPS part was installed and all codes are gone. What is your warranty?
