Very pleasantly Surprised by This
Considering the price, I wasn't sure what to expect. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Obviously I wasn't expecting anything particularly strong because of the price. I did see a review that said their's wasn't wood. Mine very definitely is, but it is pretty thin - but that was expected. I'm not finished assembling because I'm adding a lot of modifications while I'm doing it. However, if you did just assemble it, then it is easy, even though the instructions won't give you much detail. You just have to think a bit. It's not thick polycarbonate, so it won't do for a very windy place, but tuck it away a bit and it should be fine, I think. I pinched one of the shelves and used it to bolster the back of the unit. The wood is extremely dry, so when you put screws in, be careful and take your time. Don't be tempted to put thicker screws in, because I reckon the wood will split. I'm backing up my assembly with good old Gripfil before I paint the whole lot. I'm in Devon - the winter weather means business down here! Having filched one of the shelves, I would have liked to have been able to buy a couple more, but that doesn't seem a possibility, which is a pity, but there it is. Also it's going to be a challenge to find a big coverall plastic cover which I will want to use when the weather gets really awful down here. Reason? Well, this thing is actually pretty generously sized - wider and deeper than those metal growhouse things that you see - the ones with the green covers. So I reckon this is cracking value for money, especially if you don't mind adding a few bits to improve the stability. I'm going to swap the screws for stainless steel and ditto hinges, etc. Might as well - because you'd end up with the faff of changing them anyway, plus the mess all over the place from rusty water!Update: My little greenhouse has now experienced a winter in Devon and has come out smiling without a hint of damage. I did source a cover for it and covered it for the winter. I am going to try to add a photo, not as a shout out for me, but to encourage others so that they can see what can be done. Please excuse my dreadful filler around the windows - I have always been totally useless at this and I was in a hurry! Also my volunteer Foxglove in front of the greenhouse. They grow wild here and the bees adore them, so I never pull them up unless I absolutely have to.Last week October 2024 - I forgot to say that I added an extra bottom shelf 'bolster' to this. I bought a couple of those treated pine patio tiles (had to saw one down a bit to make the right size). I wanted that because I needed to store a couple of hefty plants over winter. Worked a treat. My little greenhouse is still sitting happily on the patio/mini courtyard and has experienced another awful gale that hit us, thankfully without damage (I've not put the cover on yet - I had to buy an oversized one and tailor it a bit to fit. Also, a huge gale last winter brought my hefty arbour down on it! I feared the worst! Couldn't believe that it came out of this without even a scratch. You can just see the corner of the arbour on the left in the photo. This has reminded me - I must dig out the cover and get it on before winter really hits us.

Does the job at a reasonable price.
Item is as described and arrived promptly. I did find a small bit of damage, which the seller promptly resolved but on the whole found the product to be very well suited for the job I intended it for. The parts were easy to assemble but an electric screwdriver is recommended if you don't want an RSI from putting in all of the screws required. Sturdy once built (with just a slate at the back to level it on uneven ground) and capable of taking 3 seed trays per shelf. It's not a heavy item and the wood does have a couple of splits where it's been screwed together but it's a lot cheaper than most others of its type & not as ugly as the metal frames with the plastic tent over the top.Happy with the purchase & have applied a 500ml tin of Danish oil to try & extend its lifespan.

Just what we’d wanted at best price
Straightforward to assemble. Perhaps a little fragile - don’t place anywhere where cats might jump onto roof as plastic is delicate and bows. That said, all the competitors are the same.

Recommended with reservations
I have had 2 similar growhouses (bought from Wyevale Garden centre) for about 10 years or more and, as they are now coming to the end of their useful life, I decided to replace one of them with this model. I read the various reviews and was a little nervous about buying it but today I assembled my new growhouse. The design has improved enormously since my first two, and the fixed floor and shelves make the whole thing pretty sturdy. Some part are pre-drilled but the parts that they connect to are not which is actually advantageous as you can the drill your own pilot holes after making sure all sections are butted up correctly. One can always add further screws for additional resilience if you fancy, but I don't think that this will be necessary. It will benefit from a coat of weatherproof treatment but all in all I am more than happy to recommend this product and will almost certainly buy a second one to replace my remaining growhouse.I have now bought a second on and they are like chalk and cheese. The second arrived with slight damage and with one side panel faulty but not enough to warrant a return. Nevertheless, whereas the first one fitted together perfectly, the second one did not and rocks slightly due to some right angles not being perfect. If the first one had been like the second, I would have awarded it one star and warned people not to touch it. Clearly the quality varies from product to product so buy with caution !

Excellent for bringing on my plug plants.
Received this wooden flower/veg mini greenhouse is ideal size for my requirements. It went together very well but would suggest it is helpful to have two people to hold the sides. Previously had a plastic coated frame but for the money this is far better and although light weight is more sturdy. Plants are thriving :-)My only negative comment would be that some form of feet would be good to keep it off the ground but no big thing. Happy with this purchase and functionality.

Decent quality for the price and easy to assemble
Got the frame because one from a supermarket "middle isle" turned out to be cheap but that was in quality as well as sturdiness, also hard to put together. This on the other hand was a little dearer but still reasonable, easy to assemble and once in place very sturdy.
