Doesn't come with batteries so make sure you have AA's on hand. Didn't have to program anything, worked out of the box

This remote worked perfectly out of the box with my sony soundbar (HT Z9F). Pointed at it was able to finish setting up my system. The remote got to my address the next day with no damage in a sealed and well packed package. I would definitely recommend buying one of these from this company if you're in the need of one.

Buy for the Sony HTZ9F sound bar!
I bought a Sony HTZ9F sound bar as an “open box” item — it was missing the remote control. I ordered this one before I even left the store. It is THE CORRECT replacement and required no set-up or programming. It’s smaller than I envisioned, which is great! Simple to use, especially with a Sony TV and HDMI ARC.
