Realeather Crafts Deerskin Lace, Saddle Tan 1/8" x 50'

Nice and soft. Good for decorative crafts. I cut an eight inch section and tried to snap it with my bare hands. It just dug into my fingers painfully. I wetted it down for my next try. no breakage, just looked stretched out now. That being said, i'd still hesitate to use it as bushcraft cordage. It's probably gonna weaken with abrasions and rot. Good for pretty looking chokers or thin bracelets or a lanyard for your EDC folder.

This deerskin looks and feels great on my hand wire-wrapped ammonites and agate pendants. Strength and softness at an affordable price!

I wish this was even stronger as I have seen and used stronger. But make no mistake this is way stronger than the fake leathers I have used. This is medium to light strong in my opinion. It's good. Looks great easy to use as in not crazy stiff. Can be broken by hand with good effort like pulling super snug when wrapping, but really you never need to pull that hard for any application. Is most definitely best to cut with a good pair of scissors or sharp knife. There is some stretch to it when pulling hard, which is great, but again you shouldn't really ever need to pull that tight. I would purchase again if I have need.

Real leather. Very high quality, supple, strong, smells nice, can't say enough about it. It is much more of a rust color than pictured, but will fade to a true "saddle tan" with time. Will buy again for sure, very nice lace for the price.

Excellent product, just what I was looking for, to make my baskets and dreamcatchers.

I love this soft, supple leather. It works out fine for things like necklaces and bracelets, and I love the pendant and beaded necklaces that I've made with it. It's really not appropriate for anything super heavy, though. It won't break - at least I've never been able to stretch it so much that it breaks - but it will stretch out. I also like the fact that it is made in the USA.

A little flimsy for a necklace - just okay. Not as strong as the suede I used before. I may try braiding it.
