IT WORKS!!!!
So grateful that this worked that I'm writing a review, which I only do once in a blue moon. I even appreciate AI more as I was able to ask if it fit my Inspiron 11 3153, which wasn't listed, and if it could replace the model # of the AC adaptor, which was different from the original with the burnt wiring. I'm so used to ordering stuff like this and it not working. So I closed my eyes and prayed for it to work (which I wasn't expecting it to) and IT DID!!!! What a relief.

VERIFY APPROPRIATE POWER OUTPUT BEFORE BUYING!
While this power supply has good quality and would connect to my Dell Inspiron 5759 and charge it while the laptop was asleep, its 45 watts of power was insufficient when the laptop was awake. A message to this effect was issued when I tried to use it in this way. I was drawn to this product by the specific mention of the Dell 5759 laptop in the description, but as I mentioned it was only really usable to charge my laptop while it was asleep. It's possible that this might be because I have a 2nd silicon hard drive in my laptop, but I didn't want to remove it to check since the 2nd hard drive is my boot drive. The original power supply for my 5759 laptop is 65 watts, but it does not include a power rating on its label, so you have to multiply the output ratings of 19.5 volts and 3.34 amps to derive the 65.13 watt output. I didn't check this until it was too late, but others should avoid this mistake if possible. I ended up buying a different power supply for Dell 15-5000 laptops, and while it didn't specifically mention the 5759 it seems to work perfectly. It has the same 4.5mm tip so I took a risk and bought it and it worked.

Fits older (2016) Dell Inspiron 13-7353 as advertised.
This is exactly the power cord I needed for my 2016 Dell laptop. It came with an adapter to fit a larger charging port, too.

Worked for about six months
I forgot my power cord on a vacation and was glad to have this delivered in a few days. It worked fine, and it's true what others say that it looks like it doesn't plug all the way in but that doesn't matter. The unfortunate thing is that just as the product support ran out in six months, it started failing. It's the kind of failing similar to when power cords start to get weak at a connection point; this one at the point connecting the little power box to the cord that goes to the computer. It works for a while and then disconnects, so I have to pay attention to if it's on or not. I do not wrap this up frequently, so it's not like I wore it out.I can't give it one star for this price and six months of service. But I wish it were just a little sturdier.UPDATE: Today (3/1) I received a warranty replacement (was good for a year) from the company. The laptop complains (with onscreen "fix your bios" messages) that it isn't 60W but neither was the other one. Dell specs say that either 60W and 45W are supported. It still seems to work. I just unplug it when powering on and then plug it back in when I'm going. In fact, the previous issue popularly noted (that the plug sticks out a little from the computer) has been resolved with the current version. I'll bump my rating from 3 to 4 stars.
