The day they came I didn’t know and spent almost 24 hrs in high temperatures inside my mailbox! Still they survived. I followed the instructions provided but then I learned more. I had them in the summer, the year is about to end and I have multiplied them 3 times I gave to my mom. I have not yet been sick with a cold, the kids little here and there but not enough to make me buy medicine! I think this product ( tibicos) has contributed 💪. I found how to take care of them on the internet. 4 1/4 cups of water, ( boiled and at room temp, from the filter or store bought) I do filtered water. 3 tbs of sugar diluted, an eight of a lemon half squeezed plus 5 cut raisins. 24hrs -voila! Time to make new batch but always leave 1/4 of cup of the water they produce for the next batch. This is for 1 to max 3 tbs of tibicos. Once they grow to more than 3tbs you should start a new batch in another jar. They taste like a light sweet lemon soda drink. ( there is so much more to do with them like add other flavors once you have harvested their 24 hr water.) It takes about 10 min to prepare once you know all the steps.

I’ve had these going for years, even dried them out and stored them once for a month! There does seem to come that time when life gets in the way, and I forget about my kefir … when that happens I come right back and get some new grains. These make the best kefir!

Would not ferment. Waste of money.

I have bought these in the past and they died when I had a sudden trip. Accidentally bought another brand and I'll not make that mistake again. Healthy grains that reproduce quickly.

Eight days ago I never even knew what Kefir was, but I saw online that it was a great probiotic so I went to Amazon to order some. I read Lillio's review and, since I also live in Hawaii, I decided that I would order from Florida Sun also. I ordered it early Saturday morning (1 a.m.) and they got it in the mail immediately. Somehow it reached Hawaii in only 2 days since I got it in the mail on Monday afternoon. It was well packed, very healthy, and even more than the 1/4 cup they advertised. I've made 3 batches already and it's already growing baby kefirs. I love the flavor as it is, pure, but my husband made ginger beer with one batch, and that was great also.

I’ve made kefir many times. After a move I needed some new starter. Prepared just like in the past, but no growth at all. Didn’t want to use the back up batch until I talked to the seller. Sadly they have not responded.

I had bought kefir grains before, but forgot about them over the winter in the fridge and they were no good anymore. I decided to replace them with this brand instead.The grains work great, and they are multiplying like crazy! It also comes with water resistance instruction cards and fabric tea bags for flavoring during the second fermentation. I would recommend these.

I was amazed at how fast these water kefir grains grew. Before I knew it, they were double in size and I had enough to share with a friend.
