Nice toilet and color
The media could not be loaded. We're doing a renovation and we wanted a unique toilet for our master bathroom. We looked on the Kohler site and saw this and found out that they wanted to charge a lot of money to ship it to us directly so we decided to take a chance on Amazon and buy it from there. We are quite thrilled with this and it came with free shipping and the price even though it was expensive was lower than The Kohler website. It's a really nicely toilet. I love the color and it functions very well. I like that it uses less water as well.

Love the look and quality!
This is the second Kohler toilet I purchased area tractor and great quality right up there with Toto and American Standard.

Comfort Height and it Works!
We like the height, the elongated seat, and the fact that it actually works with low volume water usage! The height seems to me to be correct for adults, especially if you have lower back pain. I have always been skeptical about the low flow toilets. This one actually works. In fact, I replaced all of our toilets after using this model. It has only been a couple of years but so far so good and no maintenance. The elongated toilet seems to help the flush, however, the "target" needs to be further back to help prevent guests from doing a ceramic clean if you know what I mean... The other thing we like is the look. Very sleek and modern.

Poor Kohler Toilet Quality
Paid almost $1000. for this Kohler toilet and the lid keeps falling off when closing due to poorly designed, cheap plastic hinge. Contacted Kohler and they stated that they will send a new hinge kit ( same poor design) so I decided to buy a different seat made by Bemis which was much better quality. I have 3 Kohler toilets all purchased in last 5 years and their quality in flush mechanism and seats keep getting cheaper and cheaper. Would not recommend Kohler products.

NOT HAPPY - Constantly Runs
Hands down the worst toilet I have ever owned.Purchased this for the height and the compact elongated depth. It fits perfectly in our small bathroom.Bought in January, 2020 and had it professionally installed since I am not a plumber. From day one, each time you flush it, within 30-60 seconds it starts to run.You can jiggle the handle and it will stop for a few minutes, then start again.Every once in a while we get lucky and it will stop for several hours.I have replaced the seal, twice, as suggested here and on Kohler's site with no success.I have checked that there is nothing interfering with the canister. The chain is taut as Kohler suggests. We have not had a plumber look at it and am very hesitant to spend money on a plumber for something that is/was brand new and never functioned properly.Bottom line, the toilet is a very nice unit but I wouldn't waste this much money for something that does not work and appears to not be supported. In the future I would much prefer a cheaper, old fashioned flapper and float toilet. At least they won't waste water and your time.

Sleek and stylish
We remodeled our bathroom and did it in a modern style. This toilet looks perfect in there. It is quiet when it flushes, uses much less water than a regular toilet and refills fast. I'm going to buy another one when I remodel the powder room.

It works, mostly.
Likes: It works! I was leery of purchasing a 1.28 gal/flush toilet but in the past 2 months there have been very few “double flushes” needed. Fewer than on 1.6gpf toilets I’ve owned in the past. I also like one piece toilets because they’re easier to clean. Another plus is the low profile bolt covers, again, easy to clean.Dislikes: Only one. After about 5 weeks the flapper is occasionally hanging up and I have jiggle the handle or it will run. I penalized a star because a $500+ toilet should not do that. I’ll be contacting Kohler for a fix.Update 8/13/10: I contacted Kohler and they were quick to respond. They sent me a new seal ring which wasn’t he problem but I’ll hold on to it because I have 2 of these toilets. The problem is that the keyhole-shaped ring that connects the flush lever rod to the chain sometimes flips over, preventing the cylinder from dropping. Kohler told me to make sure the chain is taut. It is.I ended up putting a blob of hot glue on the rod and ring. I don’t know how long it will last but it’s working so far.
