Meat for emergency food supplies.
I won't use it until emergency situation or until shelf life is close to ending. Hope it is there when I need it. Otherwise, it looks good.

Looks good.
This review is for FreezeDry Wholesalers Freeze Dried Beef Stew Cubes, uncooked, 8.5oz.I got this for my emergency stash. Although the price is cheaper than other freeze dried beef, it's still too costly to open just out of curiosity. So I have nothing to say about the taste, texture, and so on.The resealable pouch has a window (just as pictured on Amazon). From what I can see, it seems to be very lightly browned, but still raw. It looks pretty lean. The chunks are larger than I would use for Pepper Steak or Mongolian beef, but about right for beef stew.Pros:Light weightresealable pouchcompetitively priced relative to other freeze dried beef.ingredients are diced beef and nothing else. Package mentions dessicant and o2 ABSORBEr.Appears quite lean through the window.Large chunks should mitigate "cat food" appearance some rehydrated meats manifest.Neutral:At $25/lb re hydrated beef of unknown cut, it's very pricey compared to fresh meat and grocery storetype beef jerky. It's a little pricey compared to premium beef jerky or canned beef here on Amazon. But, it's freeze dried. How much are you willing to pay for freeze dried beef?As a freeze dried product, it's as bulky as two pounds of raw beef.Cons:Due to window on pouch, must store in dark place or repackage.Uncooked (most competitors are selling cooked freeze dried beef) so you will need a way to cook thisitem thoroughly when the spit hits the fan.Although priced well vis a vis other freeze dried beef, it is costly compared to beef jerky and canned(ready to eat) beef.

Great for Preppers
Have not eaten the meat yet as it is being saved as part of my Prepper meals. The meat looks top quality and I will continue to purchase

Impressive
I've never dealt with dehydrated beef like this before. I've had things like jerky and other similar meat preparations, but this is actual beef. Dehydrated, it stores at room temperature and rehydrates after 15 - 30 minutes in tap water. I've used it to do some mess kit cooking and it works well. Is there a difference between rehydrated beef and fresh beef? Of course, but I'm surprised at how little a difference there is. I'm guessing they don't use the choicest cuts of beef, but it cooks up and browns up nicely. It even leaves a fond on the bottom of the mess kit that I can scrape up and make into a tasty gravy.Normally I'd rate this at so many stars out of ten, but I've not dealt with any other meats like this so I have nothing to compare it against, but I'm impressed with it.

Only 5 year shelf life NOT 20
On Amazon he is saying that his product has a 30 year shelf life but his home page states that it is a 5 year shelf life according to his companies web page
