So DYMO only allows for DYMO products to be used in some of their heavier duty printers. The printer senses this barcode sticker on the roll and will print. I popped out the carboard roll that came with this off brand 12 pack and wiggled the old DYMO one into the off brand roll. And boom, the printer worked. So now I just have to save that roll with the barcode and switch the cardboard rolls out every time. For the price I think it's totally worth it.

These wire labels are high in quality, and seem very durable, good assortment of colors too. They are easy to write on easy to apply onto the cables/wires, they seem very secure and they dont seem to rip or tear easily if at all...the marker that they came is junk though...I used a new sharpy marker instead...but the tags are awsome!Now we just have to see how long they hold the sharpy ink I used to write on them and how long they stay sealed and secure....and that of course takes time...at this point I recommend BUY!

I used these labels to finally clean up my rats nest of unmarked wires on the back of my AV receiver. As others have mentioned, ink may smear on these labels and the provided pen is way to big for tiny AV labels. However, I found solutions to all these problems. Out of the wrapper, the provided LARGE pen did not smear. A fine tip Sharpie did smear. I also found a template from the seller to print labels with MS Word which made for a much neater experience. However, the printer ink also smeared. My solutions was to place a piece of clear adhesive tape over the printed labels. Problem solved. The tape did not interfere with folding the label as demonstrated on the Amazon order page. After installing the labels, I was showing a friend and mentioned the smearing problem. As I took a label sheet out of the opened wrapper and proceeded to demonstrate, the Sharpie no longer smeared. Perhaps opening the wrapper and letting it sit for a few days let something on the labels evaporate so that they no longer smeared. Another issue I had involved the fact that the labels are on A4 paper and I had some difficulty getting my printer and MS Word and the template to play nice together. However, it can be done. After getting everything on the same page, so to speak, the template printed correctly with all the text properly aligned. I accidently discovered how durable the labels are. I incorrectly applied a label to the wrong cable. I thought I would just tear it off. Wrong. The paper is very tough and I could not tear it off the wire. I had to get scissors and cut it off. Would I buy them again? Absolutely, however, I have so many I will die before using all of them. I have started offering them to friends and relatives. A good purchase!

I used to try to label my cords with little price tags which would pull off and I'd be left wondering what the cord was to. With these tags, I don't have to worry about them falling off and I know exactly what gadget they are meant for.

I bought these tags to label some network cables in my closet, so that I could have a better idea at a glance, which cables were connected to which devices. I really like that they come in several different sheets of different colors. And they are easy to peel, right on, and apply to the cables. My only complain, is that they paper there made of, seems a little bit flimsy. I think I’m going to keep them for now, but more than likely in a few months to a year, I will probably replace them with actual plastic tags, which seem to me more robust and will probably last a lot longer. That said, I am not unhappy with these tags.

We use these for name tag labels and this brand has been horrible to get off clothing. We’ve had some people unable to remove them from their shirts and had to toss them. I would not buy them again.
