Fixed our Color Problems
Our DesignJet was printing out in a strange color set so I ran through the troubleshooting. The printer said that the Cyan Printhead was bad. I tried all the fixes including cleaning it that I could and after wasting a good bit of ink I finally ordered the printhead.I installed it as soon as I got it, went through the aligning procedure (automatic) and now the printer is printing the correct problems. If this happens again, I'll just order the printhead as soon as the printer says one is bad.

I've tried the knock off heads but they simply don't last as long. Yes these are costly, but unfortunately there is no other choice. Be careful and check the date on the carton to be sure they have at least a year before they expire.

Solid product
After years of supporting printers with these printheads, I generally haven't had many problems. It can definitely be difficult to figure out which printhead needs replacing, despite what the display says. Make sure to wipe the contacts clean on all printheads before replacing any. Replacing all at once may be a good strategy.
