Calligraphy Pens Set -Wooden Dip Pen Handcrafted Calligraphy Set with 11 Nibs & Black Ink

Lovely set, loads of choice to use, good fun as a gift.

This was purchased for me by my husband as a gift along with the Molshine Handmade Glass Dip Pen Crystal Glass Pen. This set was striking in its simplicity and the box it came in was beautiful. The ink is nice and smooth though my only complaint (and this may be purely user error on my part!) is that the assorted tips provided are hard to write with save the default and maybe one other.In the image provided, you can see my test scrawling with the default head of this pen vs the glass pen I also recieved and I'd have to say this pen is the better of the two, its enjoyable to write with and I also use it in my watercolor pieces, so I'd recommend this product for those looking to play with an inexpensive calligraphy set.

Very good pen with multiple nibs for pen and ink art projects. The ink was good quality, although not water proof. It works very well for over watercolor ink work. I loved using it. However, the ink runs when watercolor is used over this particular ink. I used the pen with other water fast inks perfectly well. The nibs are flexible enough to allow variation in pressure and line width. The handle is well shaped and fits nicely in the hand. A very nice art gift or starter pen. Certainly worth the price. The packaging was quite attractive. I rarely leave art supplies in original packaging but made an exception for this one. The box protects the pen and ink well.

Der Stift hat bereits einen Riss. Ob das so gehört dass die Halterung nun komplett beim Wechsel rausgezogen wird weiß ich nicht - erleichtert den Federwechsel zumindest nicht, wird so eher noch frickeliger.Von den 5 Federn mit der breiteren Spitze (1-5 mm) funktionieren 3 gar nicht, es kommt absolut keine Tinte aufs Papier, einer schmiert nur fürchterlich. Der Aufsatz auf den Federn ist schlecht verarbeitet und sitzt schief, leider bekomme ich den auch nicht gerade bei 4 von 5.Immerhin, die anderen Federn schreiben ordentlich, halten die Tinte lange und transportieren diese recht gleichmäßig aufs Papier.Vielleicht finde ich noch raus wie ich die anderen Federn zum Schreiben bekomme - da eine einwandfrei funktioniert liegt es wohl eher nicht an mir. Ist auch die einzige Feder bei der dieser Aufsatz gerade auf der Feder liegt.Schöne Box, sicherlich nett als Geschenk, aber bitte nicht für jemanden der ernsthaft damit Kalligraphie betreiben will.
