super oil!
I wasn’t sure what to expect from algae cooking oil, but this one really impressed me! The high smoke point makes it awesome for frying, roasting, or anything high-heat. I did not know that you could get this high in smoke point (535°F) ! When you smell it, it really has a neutral flavor so we found it works with just about any dish. We tried it in meat, fish, vegetables like green beans, etc. It’s also light and blends well, so I think it will be great for dressings and marinades too although I have not tried it yet. I love that it’s made from algae. I know it is a healthier, more sustainable option. It’s become my go-to cooking oil, and I’ll definitely keep using it!

The best all-around cooking oil I've ever used
A friend turned me onto Algae Cooking Oil and it's incredible. It checks every single box:1. Neutral flavor (aka it's super versatile, never greasy, and tastes a little buttery) – check.2. Healthy fats (aka it's not an inflammatory seed oil) – check.3. Hight smoke point (aka it can withstand super high heat without imparting burnt flavor to your food), – check.I keep the bottle on my counter b/c I use it at least twice a day, no exaggeration. I use it when I'm scrambling eggs, frying potstickers, making dressings, and more. I even put a teaspoon in my protein shakes for a creamier texture and health benefits (hi, omega-9's!).Buy this product. You'll love it. (And no, it doesn't take like the ocean. See point #1).

Healthiest oil that I’ve seen so far 🔥
I love algae oil, it’s been the healthiest alternative option of food lube I’ve compared to. I love that this is renewable, its fats content is cleaner comparatively, and there is no funny taste! I seriously recommend in trying this oil.

Good for Stainless Steel Cookware
Overall a good product to use with Stainless Steel cookware. The high smoke point is helpful when cooking at high temperatures. This oil has very little taste, which may deter those who enjoy a good olive oil for the flavor profile.

Great oil for higher temperatures.
This is a really nice cooking oil for higher heat purposes. I have been using it to sear meat, less smoking and virtually undetectable flavor.Glad I found this for our kitchen!

My New Go-To Cooking Oil – Healthy, Versatile, and No More Fire Alarms!
The Algae Cooking Club Chef-Grade Algae Cooking Oil has become a kitchen essential for me.•Flavor: Neutral and light, it lets the natural ingredients shine without overpowering the dish.•Performance: With its high smoke point, this oil performs beautifully even during high-heat cooking. I’ve noticed significantly less smoke in the kitchen, and for the first time, my fire alarm stays quiet while searing!•Health Benefits: Rich in healthy fats and low in polyunsaturated fats, it’s a much better alternative to olive, canola, or avocado oil.As someone who’s cooked with olive oil for years, I was skeptical about trying algae oil. But after just a few uses, I’m a lifelong fan. It’s incredibly versatile—great for searing, baking, dressings, and more—and delivers consistent, excellent results. While it’s a bit pricier than some oils, the quality, performance, and peace of mind it offers make it worth every penny. Highly recommend!

NOT a believer
Kind of feel duped by this... I bought it because of the high smoke point. I used my infrared thermometer and was within their claim of 500+ degrees (claims 535 degree smoke point). Poured it generously on my stainless steel pan -yeppp it still smoked. Badly!! Less than olive oil? I couldn't say there was a noticeable difference.I like to give companies the benefit of the doubt, but I warmed my pan to 400 degrees and it still caused smoke. At this point I would rather use olive oil from brands I trust. I don't know you Algae Cooking Club, but to me it's a toss up between actual algae oil, or snake oil. This toss up ended up tossed in the trash, I won't be buying this again.
