Lipper International 1804 Bamboo Wood 4-Tier Desk and Office Supply Organizer, 7 5/8" x 5 1/8" x 8 1/4"

Just what I ordered. I don't know about all the bad reviews, but this is exactly what I wanted. I got two; one was for putting my router and external DVD drive on, and the drawers are holding my disk cleaner and parts. they all fit perfectly. Yes it is small and that is what I was looking for; something small as a pedestal for my router. The other is for my pens and things like sticky notes etc. Perfect and it is holding my phone message machine on top. If you want a true idea of the size; it is something like a little girl's jewelry box, so it isn't very big at all but that is why I bought them. Both boxes were very well packaged and wrapped to protect them, and nothing was scratched or broken. I am very pleased.

Small. But sits neatly on our end table and does a nice job of holding my 'stuff'. Perfect for pens, pencils, nail files, lip balm, small remote controls, and any little thing that gets used regularly, but sits in a pile on end tables. The only thing that was 'iffy' was that the drawers fit in two of the slots only. Neither one fits into the middle slot nicely, both of them stick badly; so the empty slot in mine, is the middle slot. Not such a big deal that I would take away a star, just sharing info.

I needed something small to brighten up a corner table I ocassionally use at work, and this shelf was perfect! Please note: it is small! You can't store paper or books or large items like that, so make sure you read the description carefully. I store my phone in one of the drawers, some pens and highlighters, band aids, and a small memo notebook.You can also switch the drawers around to your liking between the 3 interiors.Overall, satisfied! Shipping was good as usual with Amazon and the product came as specified and in good condition.

I (wrongly) assumed that these would fix 8.5 x 11 inch paper....since they were displayed in my Amazon search for "Desk Organizer" along with this product's supposed competitors...all of which were clearly big enough to store stacks of regular paper, mail, etc. (although made out of cheap pressboard, plastic or cardboard)! Since I liked the bamboo, I thought "oh, perfect!"But it's not perfect al all....it's basically useless because of the small size (my own fault for not looking at the size dimensions more closely)....I would not have purchased it (actually 2 of them!) if I knew they were this small!What can I possibly use them for on a typical office desk??? The shelves are pretty useless except for maybe storing a couple of pads of mini Post-It Notes.The drawers are equally non-useful....maybe I could dump in a few hundred paperclips (which are already stored nicely in the boxes the come in)....but try storing a pen that's longer than a basic Bic disposable? Or a ruler? A standard pair of scissors? (See photos....none of those things will generally fit....even on a diagonal in the drawer!)....and anything else longer than about 5-6 inches is similarly out of luck. None of those items would ever fit....even on the diagonalForget about a 12 inch ruler - won't fit at all anywhere on this thing.So how does this product help me organize my desk clutter? NOT AT ALL.It's built quite nicely...and it's very solid.....I just wish that it had some value for people who work at a real office desk (since it is name on the packaging "4-Tier Desk Organizer"....maybe they should brand this as being for children, or arts/crafts, or something OTHER than a "Desk Organizer". I am honestly trying to figure out if I can find a single use from my desk that will not be too big for these "mini" organizers (I can't even use it to sort the mail, because it's too narrow to hold any envelopes).I definitely don't recommend this product unless you have a very specific use in mind (ie, something very small).

I purchased this for makeup storage. I checked the dimensions prior to purchase but was still really shocked when it arrived. SO much smaller than I had mapped out in my head. For example, if you place an iPhone in one of the drawers, it will fill about 80% of the drawer.So .. PRO's and CON's:PRO's: It is really well made. Nice sturdy wood that is well constructed. The drawers are easily removed and are interchangeable between the 3 openings (i.e., you can have space, drawer, drawer, or drawer, space, drawer, etc.). It is lightweight and easy to move around and it has a nice flat bottom for sturdy standing. In addition, I actually saw this on Staples.com for more than a HUNDRED dollars (seriously .. I even double checked). Makes the $25.00 price I paid for it easier to swallow! For my purposes, although it is quite small, it CAN serve its intended purpose and holds my makeup quite nicely.CON's: It is too small to use for the purposes for which it is advertised. It would not be suitable to hold mail; it is not large enough to hold even letter size papers. Advertised as a "desk organizer", I can't think of too many things on my desk that would fit in this unit.In summary, the quality of this little set of drawers is top notch. I think it would be great for makeup or for crafting (holding buttons, thread, colored pencils, glitter tubes, etc.). Anything relatively small could easily be sorted and stored in these cute little drawers. Just be aware of the small size before you buy and you'll be fine.ADDITIONAL INFO ON SIZING: Due to a question I received, I measured the drawers of the unit again. You will notice two sizes -- the measured size and the "usable" size. The interior of each drawer has a somewhat thick "lip" which eliminates some usable area. My measurements (and this is just for each of the DRAWERS -- not the overall unit) are as follows:Drawer Height = appx. 1-1/2" with full usable space (no "lip" on the height)Drawer Width = appx. 7" with about 6-1/2" usable spaceDrawer Depth = appx. 4-1/2" with about 4" usable spaceUpon looking at the advertised dimensions again, I can say that it is NOT accurate as listed. I do still believe that this is a well constructed, very sturdy little chest and for various uses it would be very helpful and convenient. However, it is important to report that the sizes listed are not correct. The actual unit will be noticeably SMALLER than shown or advertised.
