I usually love Costco items and their Kirkland line
After 3 uses of this toothpaste I had to discontinue use. There is an ingredient in this toothpaste that causes mouth sensitivity. (I had the same issues with colgate optic white). My tongue turned dry as the Sahara desert and sores developed on the tip of my tongue that really hurt. As soon as I went back to my prior brand of toothpaste, the issue cleared up. I tried it again to make sure it was not a fluke, and once again the symptoms returned. To add insult to injury, this toothpaste did not make my mouth feel fresh and clean while using it. I usually love Costco items and their Kirkland line. With this toothpaste, it was a real miss. I lost my receipt from Costco, and did not attempt to return it. I ended up giving all 6 tubes away to an old school mate for her daughter to use at college. If you have any sensitivity to the chemicals they are now adding to modern toothpastes, stay clear of this one. This is a copy of the Crest Pro Complete brand, which if you read consumer reviews of that toothpaste, there has been a lot of sensitivity issues and adverse reactions.

Works fine, but has one fatal flaw.
I almost always buy off-brand products, and Costco's Kirkland brand is one of the best around, but this toothpaste is a real miss. I bought a 6-pack and regret it terribly because now I feel like I have to use all of it.About an hour after I brush with this toothpaste, my mouth and the inside of my lips will be lined with this pale whitish goop. My girlfriend reports the same. There is so much that I can run my finger along the inside of my cheek and come out with gobs and gobs of it. When I brush before going to bed, the next morning it is caked in between my teeth. It's disgusting. My girlfriend insists that it's burning away the lining of her mouth, but that seems a little far-fetched to me. I think it might just be some kind of residue from the toothpaste itself. Rinsing doesn't seem to affect it.I know it's from this specific toothpaste because I occasionally brush with Sensodyne and when I do I don't get the goop. I really doubt it's harmful, and the toothpaste does its job (no cavities, and my teeth are actually noticeably whiter), the goop is just strange and annoying. I'm not going to try this toothpaste again until they change their formula.

The Complete Toothpaste
I'm very happy with Kirkland Signature Toothpaste. This is the first time I've tried it, but it does a better job than the Crest and Colgate I've used for years. Some toothpastes are so harsh, they cause the skin inside my mouth to blister and peel. Kirkland hasn't done that. However, it provides wonderful minty breath, as well as fluoride and whitening benefits. I love it!

Peeling skin in mouth, the same as competitor brands
Peeling inside mouth--same as the Crest Pro Health. After 2 dqys of using this toothpaste I began to have the same symptoms as the Crest Pro Health--that is, skin peeling insde my mouth. A few days more and I developed sores inside the mouth. There is an ingredient in these 2 toothpastes (and others) that is supposed to stimulate skin shedding (per Crest customer service) and thus make your mouth feel "healthier and cleaner". Since when does peeling skin make a person feel healthier? Anyway, I returned this product to the Costco store.

Love this toothpaste!
Saved me a trip of not running to Costco. This is the only toothpaste my family wants! You won't go wrong to use it!

It doesn't hurt or anything but it's just weird and annoying.
Erodes the skin in my mouth every time. I can literally rub my inside cheeks and a layer of skin comes off. It doesn't hurt or anything but it's just weird and annoying.

Great Toothpaste!
Kirkland has done it again! This toothpaste is great. I had a problem using the Crest ProHealth. The skin on my gums and around my lips was peeling off...a little too harsh for me. This toothpaste is very gentle and it really does whiten and brighten my teeth!
