Traditional Medicinals Organic Throat Coat Just for Kid's Tea, 18 Tea Bags (Pack of 6)

I like this much better than the adult throat coat, although my last purchase seemed to have a better flavor than this one does. Before it tasted more of herbs like sage, and less of licorice, which is why I was such a fan. This seems more like the adult version, only half as strong. A little disappointed, really, since it is seasonal and hard to find anywhere else, and I had to buy six boxes or none at all.

We love this formula. The local store no longer carries this one and our Granddughter won't drink the 'new' version they now sell. Doesn't taste as good she says. A tsp of honey with a warm cup of this tea and your throat will be all better soon, for young and older persons ;-)A few tips... don't microwave this tea or the water (use stove), then add bag to cup pour water over it and cover, let steep about 5min to get full benefit, can add any flavor organic tea bag to change taste if you don't like it. We do like the taste but depending on how sick we feel may add a bag of their Echinacea Plus tea also.

I always start my son on this tea when he starts a cold. He actually now asks for it. I prepare it and put it in a thermo for him to drink during the day at school. It works wonders when he starts drinking it right away when the symptoms are obvious. The throat does heal from this tea. If he starts it after the illness has taken full course, it still helps it sooth it a lot. My son loves it and I have recommended to other friends who now buy it all the time. Great effective results!!!

My daughter is 4, she loves the taste, even by itself, without honey. And it really helps to stop the cough caused by irritated throat.That's the first thing I give her and now she asks for it herself because it helps her. I give it to her to school too in water bottle, it helps even when it's cold. Kids don't have to drink a lot of it, just little sips to soothe the throat.

kids did not like the taste. It was misleading it's 6 boxes of 18 bags for a total case of 108 tea bags.

Because my second "job", performing both professionally and as an unpaid volunteer, involves singing with a few different choral groups, my throat appreciates a lot of pampering. I prefer this type over the regular throat coat tea because it has a slightly sweeter/different taste (maybe my brain is making a psychological connection between the "marshmallow root" and S'mores, even though one has nothing to do with the other!).

After one cup of tea, I noticed a big difference in his cold. Thanks for this product because it is so many times that you cannot find products for kids under 6 yrs old. I flavored it with juice as suggested. He told me the next day that , (I need my tea) 2yrs old, isn't that something?

I don't know which herb is so tasty in here.. but it's a great combination. I don't like licorice flavors, and this tea is great because I can reap the great benefits of licorice root, without tasting it!It really does help my symptoms, and drinking it for prevention has worked great for me as well. And you cannot beat the shipping price (free with super saver shipping) with Amazon.
