The frames are a pretty standard black frame but they are a good quality. Able to be hung vertical or horizontal. The mats were a nice touch if you want a matted 6x8 photo. I use these for just really nice standard 9x12 frames for some water color paintings I did and took the mats out (actually left them behind the painting as it helps the pieces stay put and lay flat). The most impressive thing was how they were packed. Both frames were separated by a thin like foam sheet and then encased in basically a snugly-fit styrofoam box - fully surrounding the frames - then in the amazon box. No bouncing around inside, glass was intact and unscratched and no dinged corners here. Dents or nicks in the corners is the most common complaint I have when ordering frames online but these were really well packed - and delivered the day after I ordered, can't beat that.

Frames arrived in great condition. Packed well, no breakages. Works well for gallery framing. Can drill frame to install wire for hanging.

The frame is actually very sturdy and a good quality its not like those frame that you can buy at discounted super store though the price that ipaid for these frame is really good specially if you compare it to how much it cost to have an art framed by a private company it has a decent thicknes on from mat to prevent an art touching the glass it also came with a non stick white backing so you can use an adhesive tape that wont ruin the paper of your art

These are very beautiful and well-designed frames. I have an odd-sized print of the Fox God in the stars and it fit great in this frame. The back release is easy yet sturdy and the hangers are built on and easy to level with. They came in super packaging that really protected them too.

I purchased a set of two of these picture frames (8x10 and black) and was so impressed. They are made extremely well; sturdy, literally perfect, no mars or scuffs or scratches, the glass is really nice and the packaging is impressive. They are packed in so well that I was amazed! No wonder they look so good after shipping. I will definitely buy more of these.

I wanted something simple to frame some prints after a recent trip. I did not want to spend a fortune either. I picked theses up and i was able to put the prints in quickly and mount them on the wall. I am well pleased with this purchase!

These frames (2 per pack) were the perfect size for what I needed. They are lightweight wood frames with glass. They come with a piece attached on the back for hanging, and I used a 3M Command Strip to use for hanging so as not to leave nail holes in the wall. Works perfectly. They were packed with care and nothing was broken upon arrival. They look classy and elegant in my music room.
