If you think "gourmet jelly beans", usually you're thinking Jelly Belly (JB). These are just not it.I wasn't worried so much about the gel -- JB uses modified food starch for gel so they can still stay vegan. These use beef gelatin, which is pretty common for gelatins (but not vegan/vegetarian). Wasn't worried about that at all though... didn't take any stars.Another heads up... they "may" contain gluten, which is wild because I've worked at an FDA GMP food lab before... jelly beans should not have gluten. In all likelihood, it means they were probably packaged in a facility that also processes glutenous products. I didn't dock them for this either, but it might matter for you.I am okay with both of those issues though, no stars off there. That's more an issue of how you should be aware of those disclosures, as one or both really matter to some people.Where I took the stars off is that they're just not even close to gourmet. Think of it like those "expectation vs reality" that compare fast food ads vs the real life versions. It's just not there. As others' real life pics show, they're shipped in a bag, looks like some of the colors bled to the others. JB usually ships large volumes in tubs to prevent this. These aren't the speckled look JB uses on some beans to denote different flavors... the speckling is because the bag these are shipped in was likely thrown around too much (some are clearly broken/smashed), and the shipping container was probably too hot. So as they mashed around, the coloring bled into each other. If you're expecting a "gourmet jelly bean" like a JB, this is definitely not it. There's only a few flavors, unlike JBs which usually have 16-50 flavors in a bag or tub (unless you're buying a specifically themed or flavored bag).As far as flavor goes, the wifey was pretty meh on them, and I think some of them (especially the blue ones) have a sort of soapy aftertaste. Not my fav. Kids might like them though. Just don't consider them "gourmet" tier.

I received the exact one as pictured. This is a huge bag. They are so soft and are super addicting that we have already eaten a good amount from the bag. We are loving them!! Definitely will buy again. Plus the expiration is far out which is good!

This is a huge, clear plastic bag of jelly beans. There are lots of colors and flavors. I am not sure if they are supposed to be the oblong shape of jelly beans, but a lot of them in the bag are in other shapes. They are regular flavors, not to be compared to Jelly Belly, but they still have a good taste that lasts. And it is a good thing because these are the chewiest jelly beans ever LOL. I guess that could be good because I cannot eat a lot of them before my jaws get tired of chewing.

These Kervan jelly beans are a bit of a unique twist on traditional ones. For one, their texture is a little different; they're definitely chewy like jelly beans, but also have a partial chewiness like gummies, which is really interesting and I'm kind of a fan of it. They're also a little smaller than the jelly beans I usually eat, which is just an observation, not a pro or a con. They are very flavorful. My dad said maybe they were too flavorful, but I kind of think that's a ridiculous sentiment (sorry, dad). I think they're good.

These gummy bears are awesome! They have a great fruity taste that make you want more. The bear ones I’ve ever tried and they are packed very well in an insulated material that keeps them from getting to warm or cold in transportation. I was very surprised and happy with them. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👍🏼

Beef gelatin in the ingredients.There should be a label that these use an animal by product. Other jellybeans do not use gelatin. I understand why they used beef instead of pork. Imported from Turkey and distributed by an company out of Pennsylvania.The candy arrived a bit smashed, it was sent in a bag not a box.Interesting colors that made want to try them..until I read the ingredients. I can't give an opinion about the flavors until a beef eater in my family tries them for me. Will update..

Wow. You get a ton of candy and it was so good. I took them to a party with a tray of sweets. They were a hit.
