Wonderful book
This book is just wonderful. It is the best combination of information, illustrations and personal experiences that you could imagine. The information regarding kundalini is uniquely genuine, and a rare find indeed. The illustrations are an absolutely fantastic depiction of the subtle inner dimensions of the body. This information and illustrations are the profound depictions on the author's part of the teachings of a most genuine realized master. And the personal stories bring to life the amazing realizations experienced by those who have sincerely practiced in this path. You will find enormous inspiration and most valuable information as you embark on the spiritual journey conveyed in this book.

If you're interested in Kundalini then read this book.
I absolutely loved reading this book. It had a profound impact on me and helped me understand Kundalini and how she operates. It's probably one of the most significant books I've ever read. There is a lot of information floating around the internet and in books about Kundalini but unfortunately this knowledge is desperately incomplete and includes many misunderstandings. However, in this book you will discover things that you won't read anywhere else. For example, there are six nadis that Kundalini can enter.1) Saraswati Nadi. This is a deflected, unstable rising that can make a person intelligent, unstable, and eccentric. Saraswati risings often begin during intensely traumatic events and these people frequently have issues with trauma in their lives.2) Vajra Nadi. Another deflected rising that usually causes the person to have a deep interest in sexuality.3) Lakshmi Nadi. It is very rare for Kundalini to enter this nadi from an initial release and can cause many serious problems including spontaneous human combustion.4) Sushumna Nadi. This is the most commonly known nadi. Here Kundalini is able to elevate depending on the condition of the subtle body.5) Chitrini Nadi. This is a rare and fortunate rising.6) Brahma Nadi. Another rare and fortunate rising. The first three nadis are cul-de-sacs and don't lead to enlightenment. They can give many spiritual gifts but Kundalini has to be redirected to a culminating nadi to really enter higher states of consciousness.Since learning about these nadis I have become much more aware of what is happening in my spiritual friends. Whilst I am no expert, there are plenty of cases in which I am fairly certain that I have identified what their rising is – especially people with Saraswati, Vajra, or risings to the throat or brow. This is a fascinating book that I read over and over. Highly recommended.

I am amazed as I read this long awaited book
I am amazed as I read this long awaited book! It will take me awhile to finish reading it, but I can say from many years of personal experience with Joan (Shivaji) and Swamiji that they are completely trustworthy, filled with love and compassion, integrity, the vast wisdom of the ages, along with experience and knowledge that is very rare. If you are a devoted and serious spiritual seeker from any spiritual tradition (or just curious to know more) and long for more understanding, deeper spiritual life, and helpful guidance and experience, I highly recommend this book. The personal stories and commentaries make these deeply spiritual and transformative teachings come to life in real western people, and it illustrates the absolute uniqueness and universality of every human being. It is really beyond description. If you read this book with an open mind, you will understand more about the purpose of life. The cost is a drop compared to the worth of this book.

Stories of Spiritual Transformation is an excellent volume that describes the spiritual transformation of many devoted seekers.
Stories of Spiritual Transformation is a thick book that presents some narrative from Bri. Joan Shivarpita Harrigan, Ph.D. along with the spiritual stories of many participants in the work of the organization, Patanjali Kundalini Yoga Care. The examples in this book, Stories of Spiritual Transformation, illustrate the Kundalini Science that Ms. Harrigan develops in her previous volume, Kundalini Vidya, which I believe to be the best work that describes Kundalini Science and is available to English speaking readers. Kundalini Vidya lays out the most common patterns of human spiritual development and provides a coherent traditional system for understanding and supporting human spiritual progress. Stories of Spiritual Transformation documents the actual spiritual transformation of many PKYC participants; thus, it illustrates and illuminates the profound ideas of Joan's Kundalini Vidya. I highly recommend both Stories of Spiritual Transformation and Kundalini Vidya for all serious spiritual seekers.

Wonderful and Educational stories of the path to Oneness
This is a fantastic book the gives personal stories of the energetic experiences of a number of people as they reach high levels of spiritual development. It was good to read the path others have walked and relate different experiences to my own. I don’t have a guru or organization, so being able to relate to the stories of others has been has been great.

'The Tao That Can Be Told...'
Skip the theoretical introduction and start with the stories at the end of the book... reading backwards until you feel like looking at the diagrams and trying to grasp intellectually the detailed model of Kundalini Science. Out of the hundreds of Americans lucky enough to work with Joan and Swami Chandrasekharanand those who told their spiritual life-story and described the steps of kundalini elevation and higher process had a loving but amused detachment when we gathered to hear them in Knoxville. That doesn't always come across in the printed text. The combination of deep silence with the thrill of delight is part of the unique fingerprint of Kundalini Meditation after the central channel is open and the thousand-petal lotus begins to clear.
