I love this Yacona Sweetener. Ive been using it in the past two months. I used to be addicted to sugar. I am a person who love SUGAR. I used to have at least two table spoon of sugar every time I drink tea or coffee. I could not stand any other type of sweetener since it messes with the taste, until I tried Yacona. it changed my life. one small spoon of this delicious molasses like texture and I can enjoy my drink. no sugar what so ever. healthy, organic and delici. delivered to my door step.

I got the cinnamon flavor. It's sticky, thick/viscous in texture; like super mild, and slightly sour, molasses (almost like over-steeped coffee); it is pretty opaque & the finger-dip I tasted had very little rich or caramel notes to it. I will try it in my tea & on waffles. This is the first taste of this I've had, so have no comparison.EditTried it in my tea & it was wonderful. Tried it again plain and no sour taste but very strong cinnamon taste. I will continue to use.Double edit: I got a 2nd jar. It's MUCH better. Thinner, runnier, less acrid. I use it often.

Too bad about the false statement of 8 oz..is truly only 6..I too measured...bummer. The taste is okay..just not as caramel-tasting as I prefer. Will not purchase again.

The reason I ordered this product was because I can't have regular sweeteners anymore. I really miss maple syrup and I was curious about whether this natural product could help me find something that was somewhat close to maple syrup in taste and thickness. It is thicker than maple syrup and a much more pronounced, intense flavor. This can actually be good since you don't need as much of it. It does have a rather sharp flavor at the end, so that is something to consider. Diluting it with a little liquid monk fruit and water helps with that. All in all, I really like it and I use it in place of maple syrup or molasses in recipes. It is rather expensive for the amount you get, but a little goes a long way. Since I'm doing low-carb, this is another natural sweetener in my kitchen arsenal.

I stopped using sugar many years ago and absolutely do not like the taste of most of the sugar alternatives and replacements in my coffee or tea. After learning about the benefits of Yacon syrup i decided to give it a try and consider me impressed. I love the taste and knowing that it’s actually good for me doesn’t hurt either. I now use it in my coffee, tea, oatmeal. But my favorite is making toast with a bit of nut butter and spreading just a little bit on top. Give me so much energy in the morning. Id love to bake some cookies with this next.Also, this package arrived bubble wrapped and not broken. I have received so many poorly packed packages over the years that i always take notice.Highly recommend this Yacona sweetner!

I had to laugh at the video of the woman raving about this product and all the things she uses it in. The jar is very small. It's not very sweet so you'll end up using it up very quickly. The taste is just okay. Not good and not bad. Wonderful health benefits if you can afford to buy this by the caseload.

We've been trying out all the different variations of Yacon syrup over the last few months, and this is the best to-date. Here's why we like it:1. Best taste2. Yacon tends to thicken and get goopy after opened; this maintains its original consistency3. It comes in a jar with a metal lid. This is good for two reasons: a) It's much easier to get out than the ones that come in a bottle (in part due to the thickening) and b) It's not plastic, which we are trying to avoid.I use it every day with a small amount of local honey for my allergies and it works great for sweetening tea, coffee, chocolate, etc.

Yacon Syrup was recommended to me by my foodie coach, and am I glad to have learned about it. It is a healthy addition to my meals and works great as a sugar substitute in baking. The taste is mild and the texture is like that of honey. Very nutritious and tasty. Love it.
