Second time I used it a car turned across my lane causing me to smash into his bonnet, II flew through the air with my bike attached to my feet with the clipped pedals, landed full-force ontop of his bonnet and then got thrown across the floor. Ankle and elbow are really messed up and the whole of my back is grazed up badly. My bike is in really bad shape and it looks like it isn't safe to fix as the chassis is bent up badly and the gear system might be unusable but through all that when I went to find my phone, I saw it still attached to the connector on the handle bar of the bike and there wasn't a scratch on it.This thing is solid and it works really well!

This is brilliant quality for the price. It attaches well, feels very secure and holds pretty much any size phone - anything 4-7 inches will be held strongly. The elastic that holds the phone feels strong without feeling tight. Remarkable really.It covers the fingerprint scanner on the back of my phone (pixel 4a) (as I imagine it would on most phones with a sensor on the back - it covers a lot of it) but that's what makes it so secure, so I am happy to compromise and put the phone into the elastic everytime, rather than utilise the detachable holder feature, and that's fine for me.In terms of installation - it clips on and off in seconds allowing you to put it where ever you want and move it about. I use it on a motorbike so I'm limited in the amount of places it will fit. What with the wires and the angles and whatnot, but there are still a couple if places where it is happy and visible.There are two types of phone holder for your bike/motorbike, the waterproof pockets, and this type. If your not after the waterproof plastic covering, get this!

I bought a frame bag for holding my phone first. Whilst it does the job and was a godsend in the rain the sun reflected off it making the screen difficult to read. We use our bikes to go Geocaching so we use the ap to navigate to our next location. This means a clear view of the screen is essential. If just having somewhere for your phone to be whilst listening to music is you aim then a stem bag is probably better for. But, if you are using your phone for navigation in dry weather, this is the holder for you!Really easy to put on, plenty of size range in the clamp, the clamp attached to my handlebar with a couple of smaller notches to spare.The phone holder is easy to put on your phone and grips it firmly.The holder slots down into the clamp and you have a full range of motion to get your phone to the correct angle.Ours are Hybrid bikes so I can't comment on really tough proper freestyle mountain biking terrain. We are roads or dirt tracks with the occasional bumpy bits and it handled really well.My Samsung Galaxy 7 stayed exactly where I wanted it for the full test ride. My wife has also bought this holder for her Samsung Galaxy 9 which she has in a protective case and has had the same experience.Recommended.

A great product. I have an iPhone 11 and it used to sit in my pocket while cycling which meant I could not view any apps etc. Saw this item and ordered one, just a bit unsure it would hold the Phone securely to the handlebars. It arrived as promised, very quickly, and I fitted it to the handlebars. This is an easy job and was incredibly surprised as to how well it clamped to the tube. Fitting the phone is easy and even over rough terrain the phone does not move. I can now use the speedometer app to see my speed and distance travelled. My bike is a folding bike and the mount stays in the same place even when knocked in putting the bike into the car.Would highly recommend this item to anyone wanting to attach a phone to their bike and be able to view it while cycling.

If you are looking for a phone holder for your bike, where you don't have to get it out of it's protective case to use, then this is ideal. I was worried this would not work, but it was spot on. It gripped my sons phone in his waterproof protective case firmly, and attached to his handle bars tightly, and even on a bike ride across rough ground it remained secure and safe.The rubber grip is flexible enough to fit most phones (I tried it on my own phone also which is a larger phone but thinner without the case, but soft enough not to damage the phone, and strong enough to grip the phone firm and safely.Obviously if your phone is not in a protective case this will not protect your phone from the elements, but it is not designed for that, it is designed to hold your phone firmly in place, and it did that perfectly in the tests we put it through and my son loved having his phone telling him directions as we took our weekly bike ride (even though he knew the route).This is an Excellent addition to a bike if you have a phone in a protective cover, it's quick and easy to attach and detach to you bike, and also quick and easy to secure your phone to the holder.

I love that this holder works for various smart phone sizes. I have an iPhone 6s which is the same size as an iPhone 5, it holds it perfectly. I may upgrade to a bigger phone soon, so am happy it will still fit. I have never before used my Satnav App on my phone during cycling although I use it in the car holder all the time. I went out on a new route and attached my phone to the bike and found it super useful. You can obviously use the speaker sound on the phone to speak the directions and I could hear this well although I live in the countryside and there's not much traffic. I mostly however put it on silent and just glanced down when at junctions to see where to go next. Certainly when exploring new routes or unfamiliar routes I would not be without this now.
